“We used Grico’s to cater our wedding and they were fantastic to work with. The catering manager, Marissa, was so easy to communicate with and promptly answered any questions that came up. They had a great selection of meal options and we chose the chicken francaise, blackened salmon with raspberry sauce, and filet mignon. All food choices were INCREDIBLE and all our guests were raving how great the food was. The service was top notch and the bartenders kept our drinks full all night. 10/10 service. We recommend Grico’s to anyone looking for an affordable wedding caterer!“

“We just had the most amazing pizza, beer and wine at Sabatini’s. Gina was our waitress and she went above and beyond! Truly incredible pizza pie! We order 3 smalls and each and every one was better than the next! Yea it’s cash only but there is an atm in the lobby. Totally and completely worth every bite! Tall booths, lanterns and lovely atmosphere! The Sabatinis bar next door is totally cool and we picked up quite a few different kinds of beers to take home to Ct with us! “My son kept telling me he wanted us to try this restaurant as he lives in the area and he goes there often. It was a hike for us, but we decided to go try it out. There were 6 of us there, and everyone enjoyed their food, but I will speak to what we ordered. My son insisted we try the pizza as an appetizer. I am not really into pizza when I go out to a restaurant, so I was hesitant. When it came out, it was huge. I loved that it was very crisp on the bottom and it was not overloaded with sauce. It didn't have the typical cheese that slides off the pizza when you order it. The owner, Chris, came to check on us to see how we liked it. I thought it was fantastic, but there are a limited number made during the evening so I think you have to get there early. My daughter and I shared the bang bang cauliflower and that was very tasty. There was a lot of it so we ended up taking some of that home. The other appetizer we had were the soul scallops. We all thought this was an amazing appetizer and I loved the combination with the cornbread. We each had a salad before dinner and I personally like the spring mix with tomatoes. It wasn't an overly large salad, but it was a salad was what is was supposed to be: a precursor to dinner. With the portion sizes of the appetizers and the food, we actually ended up taking some of the salad home. My son got the Italian Chicken and Waffles, which was huge. I was give a taste of that and while it was a combination that I did not think would work, it was very good and a creative recipe. My husband had the Surf and Turf Fricassee and he is still talking about that almost a week later. It was a very nice dish and his steak came out the way he asked. He is frequently disappointed when he goes out to eat in other restaurants and is disappointed by how often the steak is overcooked. I had the Alfredo Bay, which again, was a large portion that I ended up taking home and finishing the next day. I was worried that it was going to be a bit too spicy with the Old Bay, but I liked the combination of ingredients so I thought I would give it a try. You can taste the kick, but it wasn't overwhelming thankfully. When talking to the owner, he said that the only dessert they were out of was the Tiramisu (which is one of my favorite desserts). His mom personally makes it so it tends to sell out. Chris.....tell your mother to make more (just kidding). The staff that we interacted with were very personable and friendly. While this was a little over an hour from home, we will definitely be back the next time we are visiting our son!“

“First time trying Club 17 tonight 3/17/23. Absolutely awesome. The red pizza was some of the best I’ve had in Old Forge. Light, crispy and flavorful sauce. The fresh tomato and garlic pizza was equally amazing. Super fresh ingredients and the garlic was the perfect amount. The star of the show for me though was the Rigatoni Abruzzi with hot sausage. It’s done in a light creamy tomato sauce with roasted red peppers, hot Italian sausage and just the right amount of chili flake. Everything was awesome and we got it to go. I’m sure it would be even better sit down in the restaurant which we will certainly be trying in the near future. Highly recommend.“

“We had a great dinner experience at Rustic Kitchen with a group of six friends. They accommodated us perfectly with a table for six, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. Our seasoned waiter was training a younger waitress, and both of them did an excellent job. The young man helping with cleanup and table service was also very attentive and hardworking.

Everyone was constantly checking on us, making sure we had everything we needed and asking if we were satisfied with our meals and drinks. The food was excellent across the board. “The buns must have come right out of the oven when I placed my order for my primo sized American cold cut hoagie with lettuce, tomato,onion, and oil and vinegar. It was made with the bun being very warm and that it ruined the whole taste of my hoagie. It melted the cheese to a soggy texture like when a hoagie sits outside on a hot day. A cold cut doesn't mean warm bun. And I didn't ask for a baked hoagie. I was going to take it back in, but I was so pressed for time. But I just took it apart and ate what I liked or what tasted ok. When I did a review on my Primo app, they asked for the ticket number. I'm going to check my truck it might be in there. I believe it was last Monday evening, 7pm. I am not from the area, but I used to stop at the previous location on Rt 309 a lot it was convenient.“

“Getting hoagies from III Guys is CONSISTENTLY hit or miss. Now it's constantly a *miss* so we're done spending money here. I got a turkey hoagie today and there was barely anything on it! 😠 A regular sandwich is thicker! Two slices of turkey, a tiny bit of lettuce, some onions and a couple tomato slices! Oh and it was DRY! We paid for mostly BREAD! Feels awesome to be shafted for what you paid for. I had to put my own Mayo on it, add lettuce and add tomato to fill it! That's NOT the point of take out. Food quality is going DOWN last few years. ((See comments for pics of this sad hoagie)) We're done giving them the benefit of the doubt. The other hoagie we bought was also lacking & dry.
