“By far our favorite Italian restaurant in NEPA! Love the atmosphere, the service and the food! Only drawback is we live 5 hours away but stop for dinner @ the bar every time we are in town.“

“First time trying Club 17 tonight 3/17/23. Absolutely awesome. The red pizza was some of the best I’ve had in Old Forge. Light, crispy and flavorful sauce. The fresh tomato and garlic pizza was equally amazing. Super fresh ingredients and the garlic was the perfect amount. The star of the show for me though was the Rigatoni Abruzzi with hot sausage. It’s done in a light creamy tomato sauce with roasted red peppers, hot Italian sausage and just the right amount of chili flake. Everything was awesome and we got it to go. I’m sure it would be even better sit down in the restaurant which we will certainly be trying in the near future. Highly recommend.“

“I got 2 trays of red pizza with anchovies & the pizza was Absolutely Scrumptious. Pizza was phenomenal. Loved it! Everything was perfect even though I ordered out. Order was ready when I got there & just the smell, I couldn't wait to get home to have a piece. Sheer Perfection.“

“Had to travel to Wilkes Barre, well worth the extra time to go to Old Forge. The classic red pizza tray was delicious, whole family loved it. Crust was perfect slightly crispy on bottom and great bread texture. The tomato and onion flavors are well balanced. The white pizza is also good, tons of cheese. Goes great with tomato soup the next day. Only slight issue was woody rosemary leaves on the white pizza, other seasonings are tasty. The kids enjoyed a quick game of bocce ball while the adults picked up the pizzas. Staff were friendly. Didn't get dessert this time but they're always delicious too“

“We took my son last night for his birthday and as a family what a wonderful experience! Atmosphere was great. The wait staff is very tentative along with the owner. The food was delicious. We all enjoyed our meals, best penne à la vodka around the area! We definitely will be going back! At the end of our service we complimented how great everything was and we were celebrating our son’s 16th birthday and the owner and his staff came and surprised my son on their own with a piece of cake and sang to him! “We used Grico’s to cater our wedding and they were fantastic to work with. The catering manager, Marissa, was so easy to communicate with and promptly answered any questions that came up. They had a great selection of meal options and we chose the chicken francaise, blackened salmon with raspberry sauce, and filet mignon. All food choices were INCREDIBLE and all our guests were raving how great the food was. The service was top notch and the bartenders kept our drinks full all night. 10/10 service. We recommend Grico’s to anyone looking for an affordable wedding caterer!“

“We heard about this place on NEPA Pizza Review and since we happen to be in Scranton today we stopped there to eat lunch. It's such a nice, clean place with friendly staff. We had the large pizza with sausage and it was absolutely delicious!! We'll definitely go back!!!“

“Illiano's is by far the best restaurant in the valley. There's something for everyone on the menu. Order the sicilian marinara pizza...thick crust, fresh tomatoes, garlic and plenty of cheese. If you're not happy, it's on you. It's definitely not the food“

“We had a retirement party in a private room. It was very comfortable. They increased the temperature because it was to cold. The service was great. They gave us plenty of bread. Always a plus! We all had separate bills and it wasn't a problem. The food was very tasty.“

“Great local italian restaurant in the downtown area. It's pretty popular so be sure to make a reservation ahead. Randomly, you can find empty seats by the wood fire pizza station. We don't mind and the hosts always ask in case as it isn't a regular table. You can see all the kitchen action and pizza making skills while dining. Terrific service by my server JP. He set us up with a wine bottle and the bikini bottom pizza which is always delicious. There is also a gelato/coffee section near the entrance located by the bar. They do have a room with a big table in case you're looking for a more private dinner. However, you still feel like you are in the restaurant part of the crowd as it is enclosed by glass. There is a section to hang coats. Definitely try the whipped ricotta!“

“Phenomenal food, atmosphere & people! This place is a gem & worth the drive no matter where you're from! I took my husband for his birthday.

He had veal parmigiana w linguine & salad. I had pappardelle bolognese w italian wedding soup. The bread was warm w oil for dipping & the entrees served hot as they should be. (it was obvious that nothing was sitting waiting to come out of the kitchen)

The waitstaff are super friendly & attentive and the cocktails- a bloody mary & tiramisu martini were excellent!

Dessert was brownie ala mode w a candle & song for hubs, and tiramisu for me.

“This is the second time it was dried out. No taste. And the bottled garlic that they are using was so over powering it for Ed it down. And I asked for a little more sauce. When it came. It was all dried. Like it was sitting g under the heat lamp a long time. This is the second time. And it had no taste. Twice . And the prices have gone sky high for. Pasta. 17 for a lousy dish of clams in sauce that had no taste. I’m very sorry we loved co I g here for years. But the food is. O share what it is. “A nice little place that has been in the downtown for close to 20 years. You enter through the bar that is roomy while also having hightop tables. When entering main dining, the first thing we noticed was the piano player, which is a super-cool touch! He played some fun songs, including some of his own, cracked jokes, and also interacted with the crowd while not being intrusive at all. My wife and I each got a martini (Dirty Gin for her and Honey Nut Cheerio for me) and both were delicious. As an appetizer, we got Eggplant Melanzane, which was light, had great flavor, and a delicious vodka sauce. My better half had a Caesar salad with probably the best Caesar dressing we have ever had. I went with the gorgonzola salad that had a nice, tart raspberry vinaigrette. For our entrees, she had the chicken special, which featured thin chicken breast and portobello mushrooms in a port wine sauce, topped with gorgonzola. It was very earthy and deep, a worthy special. I had the Pollo Sambuca, which is the same thin chicken breast with shrimp and mushrooms in a creamy sambuca sauce. It was very flavorful and slightly sweet. The anise is there, but not distracting. This was a solid meal! Our server, Thellenza, was attentive and informative. She made sure we understood all of the specials and took care of anything we asked. The rest of the staff is also helpful, too, and we were never in need of anything for long at all. The adult beverages that we enjoyed were definitely tasty, we just wish they had more of a wine and beer selection. Food: 9 Service: 10 Atmosphere: 10 Adult Drink Selection: 8 Overall: 9.25“

“Tried Sibio’s for first time today for lunch- definitely worth the drive. Food was very good and prices appropriate. I definitely enjoyed this wonderful Italian restaurant. Decor falls between original 1970s and a little updated - but that was charming and likely kept prices so reasonable. The place was quite busy for an afternoon lunch and service prompt and attentive enough! Highly recommend - we will be back to try more. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked great!“
