“My husband and I made a reservation for our anniversary dinner. We were greeted and immediately sat. Our waitress came over to take our drink order and deliver us a warm roll. They offer specials and an extensive menu. Most entrées come with a side of pasta or potato of the day and vegetable. My husband ordered the chicken Parm with a side of pasta. The sauce was delicious as well as chicken perfectly fried. The portion was large and plenty. I ordered the chicken Saltimboca. I had the potato and vegetable. The baked potato was dried out, and the spinach was frozen. The taste was very much like homestyle Italian cooking. The decor was rather dated with an older clientele. The service was excellent and everyone friendly. I highly recommend reservations. This is a nice fine dining experience for the area. The food was not the best I ever had or over the top. I would try lunch in a the future here. This is not the type of food you get in NY or NJ at a fine Italian restaurant. It was ok and I enjoyed the experience. They have been in business for a long time and have been doing something great as they pack the house.“

“Had an amazing experience at Anthony's! My family of 5 came in today on a roadtrip from Florida to Vermont and got a large variety of foods. I got breakfast, but the table also got burgers, pizza, and even wings! Speaking of which, the wings were possibly the best wings my family has ever had, and it's a shame we don't live in the area to have them more often. The pancakes had a homecooked taste to them and the chocolate chips were simply decadent. It's a family owned restaurant, so the food took a bit, but it was well worth the wait. Thank you for an amazing experience, we will definitely be repeat customers next time we are in town. :)“

“We went here for the first time last night. The food was good. The waiter was polite, prompt, but overwhelmed. Dining here was difficult. There are too many tables packed in one small room. We not only had to get up from our table if the neighboring table had to use the bathroom, but we had to get up so that the waiter can deliver food and clear dishes from the tables around us. We were not the only table having to do this. It ruined the whole dining experience. There were so many tables packed in the dining room that you couldn’t even open the door all the way to enter or exit the restaurant. Less tables would help this restaurant run more efficiently and improve the dining experience.“

“Wow our first and surely NOT our last visit. From the time we walked in, we were greeted by Cathy our server who was very pleasant and asked if this was our first time visiting...so we advised yes. From start to finish the food and service was as if we were back in New York or even better back in Italy. Even Angelo the owner came out of the kitchen to introduce himself to us and sat and had a very nice conversation with us - ironically a small world coming from New York and Stroudsburg area as well as us. We started with the fried calamari and it was excellent. Dinner came with a choice of soup or salad...we choose the soups--both homemade and made to perfection. We ordered the chicken/eggplant combo with broccoli and the homemade ricotta gnocchi-both again were as if we were eating back in New York or in Italy. If you want a great, cozy, family restaurant then this hiding GEM a is definitely the place you would want to visit. We really can't thank Angelo and Kathy enough.....we will be back real soon for sure.“

“I was in the mood for Italian and tried this restaurant. When I arrived I parked in the private lot. I walked into the bakery area, and the nice man directed me. I sat at the bar and a nice lady gave me the menu. The place was very nice. Alan was the bartender, and I started with the lemon drop martini, and it was super sweet, so after that, I had the pinot nior. I had the special stuffed salmon. When it came out, it looked good. I dug in, and it was very tasty. The bill was super affordable! All in all I had a good experience.“
