“My husband and I went to Meadowlark Bakery and Cafe this morning after learning that they hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for those who needed a place to go. We try to support places that support those in the community and do good. We’ve been there before for coffee and pastries, which are amazing, but we never had any other food. We have been missing out! We both got a breakfast sandwich and they were amazing! My biscuit was light and buttery, our eggs were perfectly fried, and both sandwiches had generous amounts of breakfast meat and came with tots. They had a wonderful Santa for the kids and a nice warm enclosed area for eating. Meadowlark, thank you for being a part of our community and helping those in need. It does not go unnoticed and we will absolutely be back to support you, your business, delicious food, and the good you are doing!“

Desserts were a little expensive but worth it. Theyre not only cute but it was delicious. I wanted to try everything. I got the pina colada and a raspberry cake. They were both so good, not overly sweet. It was crunchy on the outside with the chocolate shell and soft inside. I need to try the other ones.“

“It was lovely to relax with an espresso martini (made with violets!). This Italian/Asian fusion restaurant is amazing. We enjoyed delicious appetizers, especially the brisket bao. The main courses were delectable and different: orange chicken parmesan and cacao e pepe with meatballs. The chef talked with us about the dishes and treated us to glasses of orangecello (like limoncello) to cap off the meal.“

“I got the açaí dream bowl and it’s so good!! This is my first time trying one, but it’s so good! It’s so refreshing. It has banana, mango, strawberry, granola, coconut and peanut butter drizzle!! The açaí is perfectly cold. I think chocolate drizzle would make this even better. A bit expensive, but I think it’s worth it!“

“Love this place, freshest boba. If you have never tried boba go for Pearl Milk Tea if you like tea, or if not go for an apple pulp tea or a fruit smoothie. You can get boba added to most drinks. “An opportunity to see a nice band, Southern Avenue, in a small venue. Sound was pretty good given the confines of the space which has glass all along the side of one wall. Service was mediocre. While the menu was interesting, seems like the kitchen was having issues with execution. Needed another couple runners and probably two more waiters/waitresses with a full house. Won't go back for food but if the music is good would get a seat at the bar.“

“We celebrated my Dads birthday at this location last Friday. Cafe Light was recommended to us by a mutual friend as a great spot to have lunch and celebrate birthdays. We gave it a try and could not be happier. The banquet area was sparkling clean, cozy, not too big, not too small, just perfect! The menu was outstanding! Selection of appetizers and main dish exceeded our expectations by much. Stuff was professional, attentive, we had everything we needed on time with no delays. “Light” is definitely a place to visit for event or to have a meal. Newly renovated, clean, delicious, cozy. The fufu and egusi soup was sooo tasty! My picky teen daughter was even devouring it. I will be back to try different items on the menu. It’s definitely a hidden gem. I highly suggest putting a sign outside that highlights your business to people driving by because I thought this area was closed for months just walking by it.
