I ate and smiled the entire visit. If I had more time to be in the company of the phenomenal staff, Chef Asia (AJ), Chef Asha, Chef Carl, Chef Janelle and Chef Tweet, I would have placed my credit card on the table and stayed for lunch, dinner and breakfast. “I made reservations for Harry Potter High Tea in April. They promoted it until mid summer. Had reservation for today June 21st for special Birthday. Ridley House took down all Harry Potter stuff, the restaurant was empty. We were seated in baron area with only one other table. The table tops were really beat up as was a lot of fixtures. High Tea was promoted with 3 tiers of food but what my SIL got was so sparse and a joke for $35. Over priced, underwhelming decor and just horrible! We will not be back! Stingers here we come!!“

“We had a small party at Riverwinds on Saturday night. The food was excellent. However, the dessert package is a total ripoff! There was a plate of small desserts ( 1”square pieces of cake, 2 “ eclairs, a chocolate covered strawberry, and a tiny cannoli. There were not even enough for everyone to take one! When I asked for more the waitress said I should go to another table and see if they had anything! 😡😳 Definitely not worth $10 a person! RIPOFF!“

“Honestly, I rarely get to come here but whenever I do it’s amazing. The owners are always very kind and welcoming. + They treat you like FAMILY. I tend to just get their normal Mac ‘N Cheese and it’s REALLY cheesy! They also have their own area just for kids. It has nice things you can borrow (such as games) to make your experience way more fun! Their menu is very diverse so even if you don’t like Mac ‘N Cheese you’re bound to see something you’ll like. And again on the service. The workers are so kind and whenever I’m talking with the owners it’s as if we’re FAMILY“

They didn’t have wings the last time I went and the back bar was closed. They need a Philly School District Calendar to add extra staff when there will be an early dismissal“

“Hands down my favorite pizza truck and probably favorite food truck. Absolutely my favorite pizza in Philly. These guys make a perfect Neapolitan-style pizza, fast and friendly service. Cool guys alway working the truck and the pizza never misses. I recommend having a group with you so you can try multiple because their traditional pies are awesome, but they also have many Mexican inspired pizzas (the Al Pastor pizza can’t be beat IMO). I wish they had a store front I could visit any time, but I guess it makes it more special when I see the truck at my favorite spots. If you see this truck, don’t think. “Overall we enjoyed our lunch at Stir with 3 of the 5 dishes being excellent, 1 good, and 1 a dud. The mushroom toast my wife got as a starter was excellent as was her sea trout and my pasta with kale pesto, pistachios and shrimp. The toast and the pasta were both exquisite with very interesting texture in addition to flavor. The dud was the French onion soup. Either white wine or sherry had been added to it in such quantity as to overpower all other flavors. After we complained to the server she reported back that the kitchen had had a similar complaint the day before and was rethinking their recipe. The bread pudding I shared with my wife was also very good and ample enough for two. Our server was excellent but the kitchen was remarkably slow. To the point that after ~40 minutes had passed without our entree showing up our server brought us some delicious rolls with honey butter, as an apology for the wait,“

The white server/ cashier wasn't so friendly as far as energy and demeanor. Total opposite of her coworker. She was just there to do a job and it showed.“

“This is a regular meeting place with friends. Its location and the availability of parking are important. However, it is the food, ambiance and service that keep us coming back. The dining areas are comfortable and perfect for conversation among friends. The staff is always very helpful in assisting us in making choices. They provide helpful information and are solicitous, yet non-intrusive. The menu is varied and interesting. The staff provides helpful information as we make our choices and they check on us appropriately. I have nothing but good things to say about White Dog!“

“We purchased FRIED CHICKEN WINGS and they are some of the best I've had in decades! Although the wings are not huge, the average size is on the small/medium side. They are cooked when ordered so they were HOT! The coating is crisp and firm and the chicken is FRESH and seasoned deliciously without needing to add any additional seasoning, not too salty. It's in the hood, so it's a no frills tight space, no seating/standing room only. Nice surprise tho!“
