“We wanted to grab a quick dinner after a busy day of sightseeing, so we found this pizzeria close to our hotel. What a stroke of luck!! It was fantastic pizza! Double cheese, pepperoni, and double sausage, and they came through with flying colors! The sauce was savory and delish, and the crust was perfect! Not thick, not thin - just right. If you are considering pizza in the Fort Washington area, get this one! SO GOOD!!“

“Johnny's has the best cheesesteaks and square pizza hands down! I love Angelo's, Dough head and John's roast pork but this place is definitely better. I love that you can find parking and actually sit inside and not have to eat in my van at lunch when I'm on the road. Go Johnny Go!!!!“

“Went here to see what the toe was about. Ended up being an ok place, but not good enough for me to make a special trip to go back. Here's what we ordered:

1. 3.5/5 OG pizza with pepperoni. Pizza was average. Pepperoni was nice, a little spicy. Just a basic pizza. Nothing special. Sauce was uneven. Some pieces had virtually no sauce and some had a lot. It was hard to determine how good the sauce was because of that. I think the sauce was good. Hard to tell, because there wasn't too much of it. I appreciate the brick oven cooking.

2. 2/5 chicken cutlet with vodka sauce. I appreciated the amount of cutlet and cheese, but there was hardly any vodka sauce. The sandwich was very dry and the seeded role was hard and tough. Not a fan.

3. 3.5/5 cheesesteak. It was big, though not as stuffed as the dine-in pictures. I guess they treat their takeout customers differently. Definitely a lot of cheese throughout, which was fabulous. The cut of meat left something to desire. It had bits of fat in it and tasted like low quality beef. There's several places that have way better quality meat. Basic cheesesteak. Nothing to write home about. Seeded roll was tough. Maybe old and stale?

4. 5/5 chicken cheesesteak. This was by far the best thing we ordered. Actual chicken breast with tons of cheese throughout. Good flavor. So delicious. My only complaint is the seeded roll. It was tough. Not sure if it was stale and old, but it was definitely not necessary to hold all of the ingredients in. The roll was so hard! But the sandwich was overall delicious.

Still wouldn't go out of my way to come here just for this. Other places make a five star chicken cheesesteak and have better beef cheesesteaks and pizza. My overall rating is a 3.5 for Verona, but I rounded up.“

“My favorite by far is their Sweet and Spicy Pizza. So unique. Staff and owner go out of their way to ensure a delicious and enjoyable experience. Hatboro is very lucky to have this gem right in our own backyard.“

“I’ve been coming here since 1964 and it’s still just as good! Hands down- best pizza in Philadelphia! The brothers/brothers in law have retired, but one of the sons is carrying the legacy forward. All they sell is pizza and soda, and only beef and beef pepperoni toppings. It’s no frills, but worth the ride I make every so often from Chestnut Hill. I only wished they took credit cards and stayed open later, but I understand. If you’re a pizza snob like me, do yourself a favor and try King of Pizza?“

“We ordered takeout for a family gathering and had an outstanding experience. We had dietary restrictions that Peppino's easily and correctly accommodated. The staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered Peppino's famous tomato pie, the upside down pizza loaded with fresh toppings, Peppino's awesome Italian hoagie and a juicy Roast Pork sandwich. Every bite was delicious. I highly recommend Peppino's to anyone searching for great Italian pizza and sandwiches in a welcoming, local shop.“

“I met Marcello and Kiley the week before and New Hope and they invited us to come and have dinner this weekend. We went on Friday and had the back room basically to ourselves there was 10 of us. The food service was outstanding! Came and spoke with us several times, the chef came out, and said hello, our waitress Heather was absolutely incredible so efficient, and yet so loving! we were spoiled rotten! Everyone took home so much food because the portions were enormous. The prices were totally reasonable. I highly recommend the Sunday sauce unlike any spaghetti dinner I’ve ever had in my life, including my trips to Italy.! Thank you, Heather, Pablo, and especially Marcello!“

“This was my second time eating at New Village Pizza and both times have been a great experience. I had personally recommend their chicken cheesesteak. I’m not from this particular area, but it’s the best one I’ve had in a 20 mile radius!“

“Their pizza is delicious, always get a white pie with spinach and mushrooms. Unfortunately their sandwiches are not as consistent. Just ordered three Panini sandwiches. Two veggies and one bruschetta. The bruschetta was as ordered and very good. We only received one veggie Panini and got some other grilled chicken with lettuce and tomato?? Also the veggie Panini on their menu and online says grilled eggplant, instead it was two large fried pieces of eggplant on each half. Very generous sandwich but couldn’t eat most of it because of the fried eggplant.😫“

“Select is a very nice addition to Warrington. I've visited three tines; twice with my husband who loves the chicken tenders and shrimp and lobster bisque, and with friends. I enjoyed the pancakes and my friends enjoyed the fried chicken and waffles. The food has been consistently flavorful. I ordered the rice bowl with salmon. The portion size was generous, but the salmon was a bit overcooked. The cocktails are varied and absolutely delicious and clearly made with care. The servers have been friendly and attentive. I enjoy the Cage (bar area). It's a fun and cozy atmosphere for adults. I plan to return, soon. I love the place!“

“Awesome local spot in Manayunk. The pizza is delicious with some solid slices, hoagies are TOP notch (seeded roll is awesome), and their cheesesteak rivals some of the best I’ve had in the city. I would recommend requesting salt on the cheesesteak as just a couple of times it’s been under seasoned but man are they stuffed! This place is awesome, friendly staff, solid portions and taste, and the service is great too! don’t hesitate to give Lorenzo’s a chance.“

Anthony’s Pizza is hands down one of my favorite local pizza spots. The food is always fresh, the portions are generous, and the quality is consistently excellent. Whether it’s pizza, cheesesteaks, wings, or appetizers, everything I’ve had has been great.

What really stands out is the friendly staff and the service. Everyone is welcoming, the orders are always accurate, and you can tell they take pride in what they do.

My dad would bring me up to north wales as a child when he was a single parent and he would ride me all around and show me all types of things.
