“tl,dr: go to this pizza place if you love giving yourself the best things in life

I have worked in 4 different pizza places in the Pittsburgh Area (even one in New Hampshire for a bit), all of them Mom'n'Pop shops. I have about 8 years of professional experience and im definitely a pizza snob.

The plain cheese pizza i had here is the best pizza I've ever had. I even waited a bit till it was room temp to have the last slice, as i feel thats important when judging. We were only stopping through on our way elsewhere but holy cow i will definitely find an excuse to come back here, as long as it's still owned by the woman i paid my compliments to after dinner. If i ever uproot my life, you better believe i would try to work here just to learn how it's done!“

“Being a local eatery, we have eaten there many times and never have been disappointed in the food or the service, even though a few times, our server was rather slow.
We really enjoy eating in the covered, outdoor patio during the summer months.
Over the years, I have recommended Villa Italia to many, and having dined there most recently in June of 2025, I still do recommend them.“
