“We had one of the best meals of our lives last night at Vesta 88 while celebrating our son's 27th birthday! Ron and I had the special (grouper topped with crab-stuffed shrimp, tomato basil risotto and asparagus)--and Noah had the poutine and meatball trio. SO delicious! The servers are so friendly and attentive, and the coal-mining themed atmosphere and memorabilia make for a unique dining experience. Our new fave local restaurant!”

“Thin, New York-style pizza was EXACTLY what we have been looking for since moving to the area. From the crisp side salad to the tasty garlic pizza to the decadent desserts (cheesecake and tuxedo bomb!), each part of our meal was fresh, served quickly, and perfect in texture and temperature! “What’s happening here? How can a little shop like this in California, PA have some of the best sushi I’ve ever tasted? And the rice bowls AND wings!? Not to mention the delicious ice cream and the waffle sandwiches? That’s all we’ve tried so far but my husband and I are both eager to try more menu items. I can see this place being dangerous on the wallet. I highly recommend the Super Alaska and Yellow Tail rolls. Also, the Yum Yum sauce is to die for. I could drink it by the gallon. “I picked up an online order this morning and while I've only tried one donut from the Christmas in July Dozen, it was phenomenal. That peanut butter frosting should be sold by the tub-it is that delicious! I received a warm welcome and it is such a cute spot. And the variety of donuts I received at a good price with the convenience of ordering ahead online? I'll definitely be back!!”

“Truly can’t recommend this place enough! Any time we have family or friends from out of town we try and eat here. While we mainly frequent the diner for breakfast on the weekends, we occasionally enjoy their delicious food other times as well. I have a service dog and they are always welcoming to her and respectful as well which is rare to find in small towns! Amazing service. Amazing food. Amazing place.”

“We visited Rizzle’s Roadhouse for the first time today! It is half bar and half restaurant so we expected the typical bar food. WHAT A SURPRISE! THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT! There were four of us and we all agree and will go back even though we live an hour away. We had grilled chicken mahi-mahi, ribs and steak - all excellent! You won’t be disappointed!”

“Did a drive for a job I start tomorrow and we stopped at this place to eat. It is cash only so lucky we had 28 bucks on us. We shared a super club and fries. “What a great gem! Went here for a wedding reception. Appetizers were Brussel sprouts, stuffed mushrooms, crab cakes and pretzel with cheese. Top tier!!! Dinner I had the ribeye. Came with baby potatoes and carrots. Absolutely delicious. Cooked to absolute perfection. The steak melted like butter. The atmosphere and presentation is very elegant and great for date night.”
