“Hot delicious food. Crispy cold salads with yummy ranch dressing, hot bread with butter. Huge lasagna and the Alfredo was the best we’ve had in a while. Awesome portions. Mini poppers were very good. Gentleman behind the counter was quick and efficient. Looked like the only one there.

“After being quasi-forced to go to another restaurant in town that rhymes with pork and is way more style over substance, I was reminded of how great Peppinos is. Every dish I've ever had here is outstanding: flavorful, generously portion, well plated. No surcharges for every little thing, including bread and butter.

I also love the intimate atmosphere where you can have an actual conversation without raising your voice level for an extended period of time. The waiters are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, which is getting more and more rare these days. And the best part is the owner is often going around table to table asking you how your meal was. It doesn't get any better than that! So let's reward these old school restaurants that combine the rare trio of amazing food, a pleasant environment where you don't have to shout over your food, and outstanding service with an owner who really cares.“
