“My 1st visit today, Lucked out and stopped by since we were in the area, they were open and hooked us up with a great square, we chose xchez and the hot sauce on the side..what more to say, the dough is rising in the pans waiting for the evening crowd, it is take out only, but very clean, very friendly people, they had a little bistro table outside which worked perfect for us..first bite, oh, the smell of fresh dough and that cheese!!! OMG, loved it!“

“The Pizza Place is not only one of the best pizza places that I have tried, it has the best customer service that I have seen in the area. My wife and I were married at Mountain Valley Golf Course and wanted to have pizza delivered to our guests following the wedding. The owner, John, was extremely helpful as he delivered our pizza after being closed and even stayed to make sure our pizza was hot. The pizza was phenomenal. The plain, sweet sauce, pickle pizza, Buffalo chicken and chicken bacon ranch were all fresh and delicious. Our guests RAVED about the pizza and continuously asked us where we got it from. Additionally, the cheesy bread sticks and bread sticks were great. John and The Pizza Place truly care about their customers and their pizza is clearly made with the freshest ingredients. “The only thing better than the fantastic service at Palermo's is the food. The lobster bisque & lobster ravioli are absolutely DIVINE. Bartenders Marshall & Patty are absolute rockstars & truly make you feel like a longtime friend. “We recently stopped at Sweet Pizzz on a road trip to the Catskills. The pizza was awesome. We got the thick square cut pizza. Crust was flavorful and crunchy. Great sauce. The place is known for its sweet sauce which was good. But we got the traditional sauce and had sweet and hot sauce on the side. So good. The hot sauce was my favorite. Very busy place on weekend nights. But the service was really good and reasonable fast for a Friday night at 5pm. If you love a blue collar joint in a small town with great pizza you cant go wrong here. Highly recommend it.“

“So I visit my grandma, I ask here where to eat, this is the sort I'm talking subs, pizza, they even got the lunch meat a plus for sale. Couldn't beat it, best slice in town.Dietary restrictions: They actually had soup for my mother who is gluten free“

“They serve my fave dish ? shrimp fra Diablo! I do believe there's only 1 other restaurant in Schuylkill county that serves it. Anyway the ? fra Diablo here is SPOT ON! DELICIOUS! I highly recommend if u like shrimp, spicy spaghetti sauce, and linguine u check this dish out on ur next trip to Fratellos. Also there antipasto salads are excellent as well. They have a LG variety of food to choose from on their menu. I will MOS DEFINITELY order from here again and again and well u get the idea“

“This is definitely a small town gem. The pizza was the best I've had in this area. The wings were perfect. They were wet, sweet, hot and tangy. The restuarant is quaint. Very clean. Thanks for the amazing food. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for amazing food.“

“Always a favorite of most people I know. When I get visitors they usually want to go there.Since so many say it's the BEST !! Seems nobody ever gets tired of eating there. I have to say I never had a bad dinner and we eat there often. I don't only get their pizza, many times I get salads and Italian meals. Which are almost always enough for leftovers .Good prices and excellent taste.Parking: It's not always easy to find parking but it's worth going there even if you have to park a block or so away.“

“The pizza is literally an icon of Pottsville. I’ve been eating it for at least 40 years and the recipe hasn’t changed a bit! Food is just as good now as it’s always been. Service is always excellent. Scott has been working there and running the place probably his whole life. “Ordered ordered over the phone. Lady was very rude and rushy. Should have been a red flag there. When picking up they gave us the wrong order not telling us there were two orders for Dan. Both ordering a pizza and a bag, so wasn't that suspicious that it could be wrong. Called to see if they could do anything to resolve this. They already knew we got the wrong order but they didn't call to let us know or anything. They would not doing anything for us because we lived further away, so it wasn't worth it for us to go back. Would not do a refund of the difference or anything. Lady was extremely rude on the phone a second time. First time ever getting food here, will be the last. Do not recommend if you want you order correct and want to deal with pleasant people.“

“First time there. The food was good. The only issue I have was the sauce was very watery. But it had a good taste. I got the chicken cheese steak, it was delicious. And the perfect amount for me. I would go back and get something different. But all in all, I do suggest to go there.“
