“My overall experience was good. I have been here 2x. The first visit was excellent, and I would give 5 stars. Unfortunately, my 2nd visit was not 5 stars. We made reservations as usual, but one person in our party wasn't able to make it. So they downgraded our seats to a circle booth table meant for 2 people. I was not happy but thought we drove far, so let's make it work. We ordered drinks, cornbread, and entrees. I ordered the short ribs. I asked if it was possible to substitute a side and was told no. Ok. I still ordered the ribs. Unfortunately, when it came out, it was fatty. I spoke with the waiter who spoke with the cook 2x. Finally, a new cut was offered, but by that time, I was unhappy. Even though my experience was not the best, I still tipped 20% because it's not the servers/waiters' fault.“

“This brewery is located at 5th street and Spring Garden street. It has a varied menu and I tried the hummus platter which was rich and smooth. Very fresh vegetables and warm pita triangles. A love stout vanilla beer which was smooth n creamy. My friend had an American burger with fries "very juicy" she like the fries too. My other friend had pork belly on bao buns steamed he said it was okay but he isn't pleased with most things unless his Mom makes it. Service was fantastic!! We ate outside in an enclosed area with ceiling heaters. Quieter. Inside there is a rectangular bar and a huge room filled with Highwood and picnic tables with TVs all around. A great place to meet friends and hangout to watch sports. There beers are excellent.“

“So I had such a great time at this place it was super fun. The atmosphere was full of laughter, the drinks were super affordable and the bartender even gave my sis and I complimentary drinks. While their service was warm and accommodating, the cheesesteaks were unfortunately heavily seasoned, even for someone who enjoys a salty kick. We ended up taking half of our meals home, realizing later that we should have spoken up about the seasoning issue.Despite this experience, I'm willing to give Bar Jawn another chance in the future. “Great spot for a cheap burger that is good quality. A bit under-seasoned but you get salt pepper to add. Very reminiscent of home style / back yard barbecue burgers. Hard to not have some bias for how affordable it is at 6 bucks but I don’t think it’s a burger that trumps other bar burgers flavor wise. Fries are good especially soaked in malt vinegar. Don’t really get the appeal of going after sun down when it’s pitch black inside though. Makes it super awkward when people go to the bathroom and this blaring light suddenly appears in the corner of your eye or if you go and come out from a piss to see the whole bar squinting at you because you’re a visual disturbance“

“I recently worked as a photographer at this bar/restaurant space that was being used for a wedding. There is a small space in the back thats great for pictures and small parties. They also have a bar upstairs and ample parking across the street. The appetizers were delicious and creative. Its a nice venue to hold a small event or to have drinks/dinner.“

“I just joined Five Iron Fishtown and I love it. The location is great and I love the vibes of the inside. The hours are perfect as I generally go to use the simulators before work in the morning and work on my swing or play a round. I’ve also had a few lessons with Senior Golf Pro Matt Davis and I can already tell my swing has gotten better. With the technology they have and following Matt’s direction I feel like I’ll be performing a lot better once I get on an actual course. Highly recommend.“

“The honey soy garlic Korean fried Chicken was some of the best I have ever had, if not the best. The Banchan was very good. The Pickled Chayote and Radish (Mu) were the stars for me. The Kimchi was good, but a little too spicy for me (I should've put in on the grill and cooked it a bit). The corn-cheese sausage as amazing. The Brisket was amazing. Pork belly was very good too, but I wish they had some Shiso or Red Leaf, so I could make a ssam. The ssamjang was very doenjang forward. Not sure if they have more than one type, but I prefer mine with more gochujang. Overall, Pocha Street is a must try.“

“This was a great little spot to spend an hour before our dinner reservation. There is both a small bar with beers on tap and coolers with a wide variety of beers, both craft and the regular stuff which my husband was very pleased with. You can just grab what you need and chill. I had a really delicious strawberry NA beer suggested by the staff, really the best NA beer I have ever had. Most of all this is just a fun, relaxing easygoing stop. We had tired feet after several hours of sightseeing and this felt perfect.“

“Came in to watch the game and was surprised by the food and service. Lo my bartender was very patient and courteous throughout. I had the dry rub ranch wings OMG! Crunchy and seasoned on the outside and juicy on the inside. Great dipping sauce as well which added to the layers of flavor. My burger was the Swiss with bacon and a variety of mouth watery inclusions. Smash burger seasoned just right. I tried the love hazy IPA and it paired wonderfully. “Als Touristen sind wir ohne große Erwartungen ins Dirty Frank's. Wir wurden im Prinzip am ersten Tag schon als Stammgäste angesehen. Ab dem zweiten Tag, fühlten wir uns auch so. “Great food, however, the bar tender, Tom, is a real prick. Rude, condescending, arrogant. I used to frequent this place bc I know the owner, Randall. My first encounter with Tom, he was slow (like 12 mins before he even acknowledged me), and when he did, he slapped a menu in front of me and just walked away. I immediately say to him I just want a double Scotch, no food please. He gives me three side eyes and scoffs as he rips the menu off the bar. Then it took another 8 mins for him to pour my drink. As he sets my drink down, I say to him, "I'm done after this."He completely ignores me and doesn't check back until 15 mins after I've finished my drink. What was supposed to be a quick after work drink became a 40 min layover. What's amazing is, I was 1 of 4 people in the bar!!!I continued to go for a few more visits, but stopped bc of this arrogant man. What a D*CK.*UPDATED 4/19/2024*(Previously a 3 star review)So I recently came back to ottos to meet friends after work. Tom is no longer employed here. From what I heard, he was not only toxic to customers but also the staff as well.It's a shame how one person can ruin an establishment.“

“Fantastic beers! Keen (a dark mild) and Gully (IPA) are personal favorites but they have sooo many different varieties from sours to porters. Also love the wine, particularly the Pinot Gris, and my sister enjoyed the Riesling. The pizza is delicious, love the mushroom pizza and they usually have some kind of yummy special. The buffalo wings have a great heat and are juicy with plenty of meat—I don’t even like wings but these are ones I crave. Lots of veggie options, too—salads, yummy fried artichoke app, and pizzas. The ambiance is clean, colorful, and warm, and the service is always great. And they have soft serve with chocolate syrup!!“
