Their Pad kee Mao is my favorite dish, the flat rice noodles hold the flavor amazingly and this is also the first Thai place I've ever encountered that a 10/10 spice is too much for me. 6-7 is so rich with spice without the overwhelming heat. “I've always been a fan of Grist House brewing. They have some good barrel aged stouts when they put them out. Also the IPA's are pretty solid. They seem to have a ton of sours as well which people love. I like them, but they don't like me (sours that is). Great outdoor space. I however at times get annoyed with some of the enormous dogs people bring. I have no issue with dogs, let me say that, but people sometimes bring massive dogs and are clueless to the fact that they are blocking doorways and things. It's also a Penn State brewery which is cool. They have firefest every year and that is a great time. Food trucks daily. Parking sucks, all street parking.“

“Peppi’s deserves five THOUSAND stars. I called them less than an hour before closing to ask whether they might be able to accommodate a 22-sub order for the film crew I’m a part of. I was fully expecting them to say no, they wouldn’t be able to do it, and was ready to call around elsewhere. But to my complete delight, they said yes, and they blew our minds by making all 22 subs in under 30 minutes. Plus, they were super friendly. We had one very happy film crew that day, and that meal powered us through the rest of the shoot. Big shoutout to the whole team at Peppi’s. You guys rule and we will be coming back often!!!“
