“Come here for the dumplings stay for the burgers, the golden bites, noodles and desserts. I love this shop so much it the Mac and cheese dumplings taste like I had mommas baked macaroni cheese. The burgers with hot black garlic sauce is amazing. You have to come here and they stay open late night. When you crave a dumpling or burgers or anything on there menu come to the one on Lancaster next to insomnia. This is one dumpling shop you won't want to miss!

“They have very fresh sashimi and delicious appetizers. Oysters were also fresh and the toro was one of the best i had in a while. The chefs said that the Uni was from Hokkaido. Uni just melted in my mouth.

The short rib risotto was out of this world - tender, flavorful and absolutely delicious. The goat however was a big miss. Came out as a round rolled piece that seemed unfortunately overcooked and tough. I was expecting a braised goat closer to a braised short rib. The couple next to us had the same two dishes and I noticed they didn't enjoy the goat either. The creme brulee desert was also spectacular. The atmosphere gets 3 because on a cold night, and with the restaurant being as small and cramped as it is, anytime someone comes or goes there's freezing cold wind that blows in. I wish more restaurants here did what they do in NYC with the plastic vestibules in front of the doors to prevent that.“

I had the Pork Rib noodles and it was a very large portion with fresh bok choy, nicely spiced pork, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Also tried spring rolls and hot and sour soup (standards to see how they compare to other restaurants in the area). Spring rolls had options of chicken or chicken and shrimp, not greasy at all, and very good. Hot and sour soup was hotter than I've had elsewhere and not as thick as usual--i prefer this version. Prices were very good especially given the portion size of the noodles, easily enough for 2 meals. I will definitely be back!“

The restaurant was clean and had an awesome vibe to it - we were seated immediately and it was a Friday night! Server was quick & accommodating…she also gave us recommendations for most popular sushi rolls. Their menu in general is extensive, so much so that we ordered 3 more rolls than we needed because everything sounded so good. We also got one of their ramen bowls (also many options on their ramen menu!) which was TO DIE FOR. We talked about it for a solid week after! All of our food was so delicious, we feel like we found such a gem of a spot! We’ve already talked about how we’ll be making more Trader Joe’s tripped solely to come back to Kumo 🙌🏼 Highly recommend!!!! “Was here recently for a colleague’s birthday party. They rented a private room with food + bottle service. Off street parking was definitely a huge plus. The staff was very attentive, and the overall atmosphere of the place seemed pretty chill. My only critique is the karaoke interface is not very intuitive, and the selection for ACTUAL karaoke/instrumental tracks are very limited because they only use Spotify for the music. It’s more like a sing-along than karaoke. I would suggest using youtube instead of spotify because YouTube’s selection of music for karaoke is far superior. Other than that, the place is great!“

Two tiers above anything else I’ve had around here in my 15 years in Ardmore.The place is clean, the owners welcoming, and the food very fresh and delicious. They also use mostly easily recyclable/compostable brown cardboard containers that are just the right size.The dumplings, Spring rolls and Beef Lo Mein were all the best I’ve ever had from a takeout place.I can”t wait to go back.I’m worried that the inner neighborhood location will make it difficult for them to drum up enough business to make it, which would be heartbreaking.
