“I have been coming to Nagomi pretty frequently for about a year now and I really enjoy it. The staff is very kind and attentive. I love their rolls very much. I think the portions are good and the flavors of their speciality rolls work well together. I also enjoy their kitchen items and their miso soup is always delicious. I also think that they are very reasonably priced. I am very glad to have found this place and have brought my friends and family here :)“

“Phenomenal sushi! “All you can eat” for only $32 with amazing quality. Everything I tried was a 9 or 10 out of 10. So much attention to detail! The shrimp tempura batter was light and crispy and the salmon was absolutely delicious. The menu has many interesting dishes, such as seared scallops - this is not your typical buffet at all. This is a new restaurant and it is much better than the previous owner at this location. The quality is so high that you feel like you've cheated the system by paying so little. My wife and I will definitely return, this is our new favorite sushi restaurant in the Philadelphia region, along with fine dining restaurants with prices one and a half or two times higher. Bravo!“

“I like their poke, it's my usual, and I would like to try their other items eventually. Their bulgogi is not my favorite as I find it blander and drier than what I like. I find that their website is not easy to use and their customer service is not great. They seem to argue or get easily frustrated. I like to get their lunch deal but it hasn't worked multiple times and they don't seem to like to honor the deal when I can't get it to work - they begrudgingly do. I'm not sure if the issue is because I have an iphone and use safari.

While waiting for my food today- I saw 3 other set of customers come in. The first came to pick up food and it sounded like one of the shop owners(?) (the woman) was rude to someone picking up telling them that they should come on time - they they've been waiting 15 minutes. The next person asked if they could drink their boba inside (they had other food with them) and they said no because there is no outside food. I understand the rule, but it seems odd to me when I've never seen the place anywhere near full. This is just my opinion, but I think having people visible in the place would be good for business. I don't think I've ever seen more than 4 people inside. I'd like them to stay in business and remain in the neighborhood but I'm uneasy about how it's not really a pleasant place to wait for my food in. I wish they would be more open and prioritize more positive experiences.“

“Stellar sushi restaurant in Chestnut Hill! My wife and I had a memorable dining experience at Sakura Ramen & Sushi Bar. The ambience is warm and inviting and the staff are friendly and attentive. The sushi is fresh and of the highest quality. Presentation is first rate.“

“They have very fresh sashimi and delicious appetizers. Oysters were also fresh and the toro was one of the best i had in a while. The chefs said that the Uni was from Hokkaido. Uni just melted in my mouth.

“I brought my brother-in-law in to eat on Thanksgiving afternoon (we had to delay Thanksgiving dinner at our houshold and, since he lives in a care facility, that unfortunately left him without getting with famly on a very important day. It really disrupted our meal and we had to scurry out quickly. The pork wasn't as tender as usual, but the smoky, grilled fat made it taste better. The broth was okay, nice and comforting, but nothing amazing. Also, if you sit by the windows in the winter, it can get really cold, so I’d recommend sitting away from the door and the street windows when it’s chilly. “I took my boyfriend here for his birthday, and we both really enjoyed it! We had the 12-course omakase for $68, which is a great deal compared to other spots in Philly. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. The chef was friendly, though he spoke very little English, which made communication a bit challenging. The whole experience lasted about an hour.

It’s no longer BYOB, but they do offer a variety of drinks. We tried the fruity sake flight, and it was a great choice—different flavors to sample, and it paired perfectly with the sushi. The interior is small and cozy, with charming Japanese décor. The only downside is the parking; it’s pretty tough. Fortunately, we managed to find a spot in a small alley about a block away.“

“Food here is SO GOOD. Everything is made fresh to order. Their fried pork cutlet is drizzled with homemade gravy, and their pork cutlet with cheese is so yummy as well. If you like cold noodles, you should definitely get their soba—I get it every time I come. But everything in the menu is so good. I love restaurants that have a limited menu and do the food justice. “Highly recommend if you go to the Plymouth meeting mall. This place has been here for at least 20 years and is one of the last eatery still standing. I used to go when I was in my teens, now when I take my daughter to the mall to play I have to get some. Always the chicken teriyaki with extra chicken and sauce. So happy they are still open and food tastes exactly how I remember.“
