“Great pub food. The servers are super friendly and the location is clean and large enough to accommodate a family or couple to visit.
I tried the (6) garlic parm boneless wings and the mac and cheese side...all very good and plentiful portions. Hubby got the fried shrimp platter with fries and salad. Portions were large and shrimp were hot but cooked in 'old oil'. The salad was big enough cold and tasty.
We need to come back and try some more things. Our draft beers were cold and served quickly.“

“The bar at Kempton Hotel was one of our favorite stops on our road trip from San Diego, CA, to Calais, Maine. The service was excellent, and they all made us feel welcome. The food was delicious - BBQ pork fries, Dutch fries, and steamed clams. Best of all, the patrons were a fun crowd. If you are in the area, I highly recommend you visit them.“

“Found this place recently by accident. Connie the owner is by far the most alert attentive and kind bartender I have ever met. Instantly has a calm and mellow feel from the second you walk in the door. Prices are fair, people are friendly. Riverboat saloon is now my go to place for a drink. I highly recommended trying this place. You won’t be dissatisfied in anyway.“

“I have loved the food. It was a nice place to eat. The staff was nice. The patio was a quiet place to eat and we were able to count the trains as the came by. I have loved this place. I would eat here again. I would even come back and try some of their drinks.“

“Nice clean simple place with very good food no matter what you order. Portions are ridiculously large but it's the taste and quality that keeps us coming back. Very reasonable as well. Laidback fun night out with nice people. Not an empty seat tonight. 5 stars!“
