Crabbs Tropical Treat Reviews
My boyfriend and I placed an order at the window at 6:48 & was told it would be an hour long wait for 2 fat boys, a blt & an order of fries. We knew it would be awhile since it was opening weekend & it was packed. However, after waiting an hour & 20 minutes, we still did not receive our food. After checking at the window a few times (which we only did when we heard them say it would be a 20 minute wait for food at that point), we finally got confirmation that our food wasn’t...read full review
Best burgers! Look forward to opening day.
I just wanted to say, I have a lot of food allergies, so when I order a sandwich I order it without the roll. I always request that it be cut up because you all don't offer plastic knives. It's so hard to try to cut it or pull it apart with those little plastic forks you provide. Well today, we place our order and I tell the girl at the window to make sure they cut it up, my fiance also told her. Well it came out, NOT cut up so I took it over to the door. Crabbs Tropical Treat is a restaurant that offers a great dining experience with friendly staff and a variety of food options. Known for its delicious strawberry shortcake Sundae, made with strawberry sauce, fresh strawberries, soft serve ice cream, and shortcake, this iconic establishment has been a popular spot for 73 years. The restaurant features several seating areas, including a large shelter for groups and families, and quieter spaces. It is also famous for its neon Swirl Cone and attracts both locals and tourists. While the portions may look small, the taste is phenomenal, especially the hamburger delight, fried chicken, and homemade coleslaw. The homemade french fries are delicious, and the Fat Boy sandwich with its pink sauce is a must-try. The staff is generally courteous and professional, but there have been occasional reports of snippy service. Weekends can get busy, so parking may require patience, but the wait is worth it for the hot, delicious food and some of the best ice cream milkshakes or malts around. The restaurant offers outdoor seating and is kid-friendly, with a nostalgic car hop vibe where diners can order through a speaker and have their food delivered to their car. It is recommended to bring cash as the restaurant does not accept credit cards, although there is an ATM available.
