The actual food is not great, I got a chili dog and it was a little hard and the chili was watery. But for ice cream I would definitely recommend it!“

“Breakfast was very good. Omelets where stuffed with filling. A little disappointed that potatoes do not come with the omelet. However was very impressed with how quickly the food came out as the place was very busy and our food was ready in 10 minutes.“

“I attended a wedding here in October and it was beautiful. One downside was that it was bad weather so the ceremony had to take place inside. The wedding used both their main room as well as an adjacent room, and those of us in the adjacent room can barely hear or see the ceremony. The staff was friendly and dinner service was smooth. I had the Brazilian flank steak and it was good. The vegetarian option was eggplant and it looked delicious.“

“I tried many Burgers in restaurants, bars and grills, taverns and fast food joints. The Aces burger is #1. Big perfectly cooked. The bun was toasted and fresh. The fries were perfectly cooked. The beer was cold.Great service, my wife had the steak sandwich, said it was the best ever.If you're on the way past or to Conneaut look it up and stop here.“

“First time here at Crooked Paddle, we will be returning! The pizza we ate was the best we've had in a awhile. The green peppers, purple onions were sliced very thin on the pizza were better cooked than other pizza places ever try. The hand tossed dough was tasty for pizza crust. Cup pepperoni charred deliciously, crust was soft but a bit crunchy to make it even tastier. Our waitress was very friendly and informative with us. Met the owner and applause to her. Forgive me as I'm bad with names; she was either Megan or Brandy, she helped us with purchasing t' shirts. We want to return to take a hike and enjoy another meal. ?“

“I have lives in this area since 2018. Never tried Lil Bits Restaurant figuring it was just another greasy spoon. My family and I (5 of us) visited Lil Bits after watching the eclipse. All I can say is AMAZING. I did not know what I was missing. We were seated and drink orders taken quickly. Two of us ordered pumpkin pancakes; the fluffiest cakes I have ever seen. They were delicious. Two of us ordered BLTs with hand cut fries. Excellent!!!! One of us ordered the children's chicken tenders and fries. They were also good. Our waitress Jacki was exceptional. She said she usually works in the kitchen doing prep but was helping out wait staff today with the large influx of people coming into the area for the eclipse. I will definitely return to this restaurant. I will recommend it to friends and family. There is plenty of parking and meals are reasonably priced. My number one concern is always cleanliness of the place. This restaurant is clean and wait staff have proper dress. Don't pass this little GEM of a place by. This is the BEST restaurant in the area hands down. Sorry I forgot to take pics of our food. I hope owner/management takes the time to read these reviews. It sounds like I hit this place on a good day. Consistency is key to running a good business. Hoping I will find the food and service as good as it was today every day I visit.“

“We did our rehearsal dinner at Silver Shores on Conneaut Lake and it exceeded our expectations! The backdrop of the lake made it feel like we were on vacation. Rob, the owner, and his staff kept the buffet hot and stocked and the bar quick and accessible. We loved it there and highly recommend!“
