This took away her ability to enjoy some of her favorite foods. We tried to find substitutes at the local grocery stores but nothing really took the place of her favorite baked goods. “As an avid fan of Indian cuisine, I decided to give Tiffin Indian Cuisine a try. Following my usual approach when visiting a new restaurant, I opted for some of the simplest and most traditional dishes: vegetable samosas as an appetizer, chicken tikka masala for the main course, and rice pudding (kheer) for dessert.

The service was prompt—my food arrived within 10 minutes of being seated. One thing to note: you have the option to either sit and wait for a server or order at the counter.

Starting with the samosas, they were quite good overall. Made traditionally with peas and potatoes, the only slight drawback was the strong presence of cumin, which slightly overwhelmed the other flavors. While I know cumin is common in Indian cuisine, I found it a bit too dominant here. However, the three accompanying chutneys—peach, tamarind, and green chutney—were delightful. The peach chutney was my favorite, offering a perfect balance to the spices in the samosas.

The chicken tikka masala was exactly what I hoped for. It was prepared traditionally and the flavors were spot-on. There’s not much else to say—it was a solid dish, well-executed and flavorful.

Unfortunately, the meal ended on a slightly disappointing note with the kheer (rice pudding). Kheer is supposed to be creamy and sweet, but this one was watery and lacked the usual richness. It tasted mostly of milk, with none of the complexity or sweetness that typically makes kheer so enjoyable.

A few additional notes about the restaurant itself: their QR codes on the tables didn’t work, which was a bit frustrating. Also, their website could use an update, as it didn’t reflect the full menu that was available in the restaurant.

As for the atmosphere, it was fairly simple and didn’t scream "Indian culture" in an overwhelming way. The decor was plain but featured subtle touches, like Indian photography on the walls, which I personally enjoyed. While the space didn’t feel overly themed or immersive, the minimalist approach worked well enough to create a relaxed dining environment.

Despite these minor setbacks, I would still recommend Tiffin Indian Cuisine to anyone looking for a traditional Indian food experience. I’m looking forward to seeing their improvements in the future.“

“Absolutely love this bakery! They offer handmade treats that you won’t just find at any grocery store bakery, but instead a real nice and upscale mini bakery. Their menu items often change, incorporating new and exciting ideas often. Some yummy ones that I tried are tiramisu, pavlova, caramel cheesecake, pumpkin cheesecake, fruit tarts, and more! Parking: Metered street parking but came in the afternoon on a Saturday and was able to park on the same block.

Wheelchair accessibility: Tables for outdoor dining available. Front door is about 3 feet but a little heavy for accessibility to work it one handed. From the ground level front door there is a ramp up to a wide turning circle. A few tables available right off the ramp. A group came in with two strollers and an employee came right over to rotate one of the tables to make it easier for their group of 4 (2 strollers not included) and they had no issues. Rest of the restaurant including access to the bathroom is narrow, about a 2 foot path, but all on the same plane.“

“Fantastic pizza, salads and hoagies. The owner is great, and same with the staff. Best pizza shop in the area. Try one of their hoagies or subs! Chicken Florentine is great. I have a nut allergy and we always eat their food! My mom and I have known the owner for years - would highly recommend.“

Second, I appreciate their business practices. Just yesterday, I ordered some cookies, and although they usually ship the next day, they weren't able to get into the shop due to the ice. I received a thoughtful phone call from a man named Mike. He informed me that they typically do not ship on Fridays, but given the inclement weather, they would be making an exception. He even apologized for the delay. You rarely get this kind of courtesy call from businesses anymore.“
