“What fun! Ten of us celebrated Mother's Day at Penn's Tavern, and it was delightful. Brandy, our waitress, was fantastic. We were all impressed with how quickly our food arrived, and even better, everyone loved their meals. To top it off, the weather was perfect, making the view of the scenic (and yes, muddy!) Susquehanna River even more enjoyable.”

“Stopped here for lunch today, highly recommend! Hole-in-the-wall locals vibe with great classic rock playing and 80’s 90’s slacker movie memorabilia on the walls. And race car parts! Staff was super friendly and snarky, which is a positive in my book. Had a Coney Island all the way with spicy chili, and a plain beef dog (for all the stuff that inevitably falls off the Coney dog). Delicious!”

“The food here is absolutely delicious! I haven’t ate a pizza and subs this good in our area. Friendly staff and it’s the best small town pizza. Drinks in bottle on site and chips if you desire. Cheesesteak sub or Stromboli are so good. Our favorite pizza is chicken bbq! But even regular cheese or pepperoni are delicious! Definitely worth ordering and pick up.”

“Everytime we pick up our orders we are met with the most welcoming guy. Always says hi when you walk in, comes out to hold the door if your hands are full, or brings it to your car if you have kids sleeping in the car. The food is always great too.”

I had the spicy shrimp and the meals come with red rice refried beans and salad . Not all their food is spicy. There is something for everyone even the kids. My mouth is watering writing this review. TRY IT. Mmmmm”

“My hubbs & I recently stopped as 1st time diners & we both were pleasantly pleased with how exceptionally good the food was. We both had burgers and it was quite noticeable that the meat was not a processed fast food patty. Fresh cut fries and breaded mushrooms were good. Shout out to our waitress, Haley, who went over & above to make sure there were no additives in the ice cream that would cause me ill affects. And to wash down an excellent lunch was their sweet mint tea: L O V ED I T!!! Well worth the trip folks”

“Decided to try this place, after a few friends told me how good it was. I tried the Italian sandwich, with country potato soup as a side, along with a peach tea. The sandwich was very delicious and very flavorful, the potato soup was excellent!! My server, Avi, was very polite and had a smile when bringing my meal. Great meal, great service, great place to eat in or take out. Highly recommend !!”
