“So, let me start off by saying that I did enjoy the pizza here, it was very good, but unfortunately it is not Old Forge style pizza. I’m from NEPA and have had pretty much every old forge pizza around including the biggies like Revellos, A&G, Cafe Rinaldi, Salernos, and Callarussos of Avoca. This pizza is more along the lines of a “NEPA fried Sicilian style”. Think Pizza Perfect, pizza Loven, Sparetime in Dallas. A bit of a greasier crust, and missing the true sharp American cheese blend that sticks to the roof of your mouth and what makes an Old Forge pizza an Old Forge pizza. Again, the pizza was very good, and I do like a NEPA fried Sicilian, it’s just not the same as Old Forge.“

We had a half cheese, half pepperoni pizza and you can tell they use good quality cheese and good pepperoni. We also had some of their pastries, we had the guava pastry with a cheese filled quesito, they were both good. They would taste better warmer or freshly made but they keep them refrigerated. If you’re planning to dine-in, you must be aware that it’s a small place and tables are limited but if you’re doing takeout, this is a perfect small local business to support while eating some delicious and decently prized food.
