“My husband and I went to Meadowlark Bakery and Cafe this morning after learning that they hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for those who needed a place to go. We try to support places that support those in the community and do good. We’ve been there before for coffee and pastries, which are amazing, but we never had any other food. We have been missing out! We both got a breakfast sandwich and they were amazing! My biscuit was light and buttery, our eggs were perfectly fried, and both sandwiches had generous amounts of breakfast meat and came with tots. They had a wonderful Santa for the kids and a nice warm enclosed area for eating. Meadowlark, thank you for being a part of our community and helping those in need. It does not go unnoticed and we will absolutely be back to support you, your business, delicious food, and the good you are doing!“

“I I absolutely love this bakery. Their pumpkin spice latte is the best I’ve ever had — rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced every time. The amazing people who work there make the experience even better. They’re friendly, welcoming, and always upbeat, and they treat you like a regular and family the moment you walk in.

Their bakery items are amazing too. I always bring something home for my daughter and son in law when I’m in Philly, and she looks forward to it every time. I also pick up their dog‑bone treats for my dog and even the neighbors’ dogs — they all go crazy for them. (and I bring them some croissants - neighbors!) Between the incredible drinks, delicious baked goods, and genuinely great staff, this bakery has become one of my favorite places to stop and relax“

A 4-pack will provide a very satisfying dessert for 4 (or more) people. The staff at Newtown is very friendly and personable; the store is immaculate, the service is quick. “First of all, without even mentioning the delicious baked goods, Justin & his wife Aastha are so sweet & amazing. Every conversation I’ve had with them could go on forever. Aastha is always so willing to chat & Justin is always down to discuss my current home baking projects.

I’ve been going once every week or every other week for over a year now & felt the need to finally write a review (I don’t review much on here!). Today, I walked into the shop looking for my coveted Almond Croissant (amazing) and there were none to be had—Justin hadn’t made them today because the plain & chocolate were selling well enough to not make any. This man, so wonderful, offered to make me an Almond Croissant. I felt bad, but he insisted & I came back in an hour & an half and he had it waiting for me. Now, THAT is truly caring about your customers. It was just what I needed after a rough week.

Some of my favorite baked goods from the Bakeshop are (obviously) the Almond Croissant, the Country Loaf & Personal Loaf (same dough, different sizes), the Chocolate Chip Cookie (my boyfriend’s favorite) & the Cheddar & Chive Danish.
Notable mention: I tried the Pesto (homemade with walnuts) & Parmesan Babka today for the first time & oh my gosh, so good. Savory with a subtle hint of sweet. I’ve never had a savory babka & I’d been eyeing it up the past few weeks and boy am I glad I made the purchase.

The vibe inside is cozy & rustic. Warmth radiates from the oven(s) & also the decor. Books for children, window seats to people watch, and a big booth to house a small group of people.

All in all, come for the pastries & keep coming back for the customer service.“

“I stumbled upon this store online since I go to McCaffrey's in Doylestown from time to time. I didn't know what to expect but I will say that the vegan cupcakes and chocolate bundt cake I got were excellent and the staff are very friendly. “It was suggested by our friends that we stop by on our way home from their farm on Saturday. We had a little truck lunch including a slice of sausage pizza and slice of tomato pie, 2 pepperoni rolls and a piece of tiramisu. All delicious enough for us to go back inside a couple times leaving with: some dry pasta, marinara, and a cheese and parsley sausage wheel that we made for dinner that night. Do delicious. And bruschetta that came with some breads that, in hindsight , we should have got the bigger container of bruschetta that was the absolute best. “There aren't a lot of places to eat along the Delaware River outside of super expensive places in New Hope. Lumberville General Store is one of my favorites. Generous portions, very good food, and the staff is willing to be flexible for those with dietary concerns. The building is historic and you can eat inside or outside. Love taking a walk across the Lumberville (walking) Bridge to New Jersey.“
