“7/24/23 my family scheduled a ride on the Everett railroads Ice cream tour, celebrating nannys 90th bday, with all the kids i figured I'd better bring more than just their ice cream (their farm raised and can eat ?) I called the train station and ask if it was allowed and where to go to grab a decent pizza and they referred us to Best way, even gave me the number. I'm in centre hall so it's a good hrs drive but only a mile from the train. I called right before I left and told them my est. Arrival time. Ordered 1 veggie, 1 meat lovers light sauce, 1 pepperoni, and a cheese.. all extra large, pulled in and entered immediately noticed how clean, spacious and welcoming the staff was. They just pulled the last one and i grabbed 2- 2liters and asked for 20 cups, plates, and napkins if they had them. I was willing to pay for them but they tossed em in no charge an helped bag it even offering to help get me out the door. This was my 1st time trying Best way an it was really good, I'd put it alongside pizza hut or dominions, its not gourmet wood brick oven or extra fancy but nonetheless good pizza. My husband likes light sauce and he was beyond pleased and mentioned a cpl times that it was perfect, just the right amount of sauce. nanny an a few others agreed, it's pizza, the kids didn't taste it as they shoved it in but were eating quite an complainant free so that was them agreeing. We had 14 adults an 6 kiddos..I ended up spending about $4.40 per person without tip 6.50ish with and i think that is extremely reasonable. They did an excellent job with timing and were extremely helpful,.. made you feel welcomed an comfortable. My husband said put that meat upfront..he'd planned snacking on the way home and wished we had a best way pizza around us. I'm limited to only those 4 items but they were all delicious and if we get down that way again I'll definitely be stopping by to grab 1 Or few ! Thank you again for being so prompt and helpful and for our scrumptious lunch. We'll be back at some point.“
“This little shack on the beach is a very pleasant surprise!! The people are friendly, the menu extensive, reasonable prices, great portion and quick service!! What more could one ask! You can sit by the lake and eat picnic style! We ordered the fried veggie sampler and chicken tender and fries combo. It was freshly made to order and delish!!“
“It's delicious! I'm a self confessed pizza nut and I am very picky with my pizza. Sauce, cheese and dough make the taste and this pizza is as good as it gets. Really nice people here too. Clean, nice place to eat. I'm a past customer so I knew what I was getting. Good stuff ?“
“New to the area. Originally from NJ, lived in South Carolina the past 3 years, home of the worst pizza in the U.S. Very picky about my pizza. Ordered a plain and Hawaiian pizza. Soooo GOOOOOOD! Great crust, not to much sauce, perfect. I had forgotten what good pizza tastes like. I have been looking for a good local pizza place, I will definitely be back.“
“Tried this place on a whim and due to positive reviews. We ordered the grilled chicken Stromboli and chicken parm sandwich. The chicken parm was big enough for the two of us for our dinner and we ate the Stromboli for lunch the next day. Both items were very tasty and enjoyable. Make sure you’re a garlic fan (we are) before you order the grilled chicken Stromboli. Two thumbs up!“
“The crew at the shop were very nice to my wife and I and made us feel accommodated and appreciated for our travel to their restaurant. It feels like a hidden gem in the heart of Altoona and I liked the Altoona style Sicilian. It is not the greatest pizza but it is very good and different. A pizza critic needs to come check it and have a good time with the local flavor slice. My only regret is not trying one of the hoagies there. Good job guys at 29th St!“

“Gem of a pizza place, all fresh made and focused on pizza and stromboli. Square cuts, super cheap, to go. Always made fresh, something about this pizza, you just keep coming back and he is very friendly and brings it right out to you after he makes it up. Love the place.“
“The pizza is always great with the huge slices. It gives you a full meal with just one slice. The pizza isn't overly greasy and the cheese tends to slide off a bit due to the sauce but if you eat carefully it's a great slice. The employees are nice and the atmosphere is great if you wanna hang out with friends. There is a limited floor space but they make the most of the space they have to work with.“
