“Ok so I’ve been twice the first time I went I wasn’t too sure if I liked the double smash burger so I went back and I can say I now know why! This time I got the double heat smash burger. The smash patty itself was very bland, no seasoning not even salt and pepper, the house sauce which goes on the burger isn’t spread nor sweet enough you can hardly taste the relish, and the heat sauce was mid it literally had no flavor just spice. The fries and the milkshake are pretty good tho as well as the customer service!“

“We just love our new family restaurant! We get treated like family everytime we go!!!! The atmosphere is so cozy and the staff is exceptional. And let's talk about the food - it's absolutely to die for! The portions during happy hour are perfect and the prices are so reasonable.

But the best part? Let me introduce you to DAVID! He's the star of the show - always attentive, funny, and he makes drinks like a true master! Whenever I go, I insist on being seated with David.

They made our anniversary so special and they truly care about their guests' experience. We feel so lucky to have this gem in the neighborhood. I'd travel far and wide for this level of excellence!

Oh, and I can't forget to mention my favorites: The Good Good Things drink, the Buffalo wings during happy hour, and the amazing cheesesteak! And my kids absolutely love the huge, deep dish, extra cheesy pizza.

We're off to our reservation with David - can't wait! If you go, make sure to say hi to him and tell him Mink sent you!

Almost forgot the fresh house made potato chips!!!! So so so good!!! Don't skip them!

“I had dinner at La Sera the other day and was impressed. The appetizers were delicious--we had the calamari, cozze, and mushrooms. All were delicious, but the mushrooms were phenomenal. For entrees, our table had the ribeye, veal ripieno, spaghetti and meatballs, and ravioli rosa. Everyone loved their food.

And I must give a special shout out to Meritan. I realized the next day that I left my hat at the restaurant and I had already left for the airport to return to Florida. I connected with Meritan who I coordinated with to have it shipped to my house.

In all, La Sera offers delicious food and service from good people. I will certainly be back.“

Figured I’d get something safe to eat there and hold my stomach quiet. I saw Shake Shack. Never been. And decided to try it. Burger, lettuce and tomato, hold the cheese. Hold the “special” sauce!That burger was really good. Nice cook. I did see a griddle so these bad boys are not like flame grilled. The burger was slightly larger than the bun which I liked cause who wants to OD on bread. Nice, fresh lettuce and tomato. All groovy. The crinkle cut fries were nice and crispy without being greasy or over salted. That meal hit the spot! And you know it was around $16 which is a little excessive except when you understand you’re in a stadium where highway robbery is perfectly legal. A bottle of water is $5.So Shake Shack is for real in my view. I would go in again for a replay on that burger and fries.Well I can’t give a hamburger joint a 5, can I?But I say Shake Shack is at the top of the hamburger food chain! Yes. It is. “we went to the Shebeen after a show at the theatre on Sunday 12/22. our initial experience was not great -we had major problems with our server who started out with us not taking a drink order and things being ordered incorrectly, and an all around bad attitude. After asking to speak to a manager, Demi came to our table, spoke to us and switched our server for the evening. She made a bad experience turn out to be a wonderful evening. everthing about her was fantastic! she accomodated all our requests and went above and beyond. Thank you Demi and we will definitely be back.“

“After reading about the real estate and trademark dispute in the law journal recently I decided to drive to Philly and visit the original Jim’s Steak West from 1939 that predates Jim’s South Street. Cool back story and legal wrangling to resuscitate this business. We enjoyed the neighborhood and the business started to fill up as Church let out with everybody in their Sunday best. Ordered a Philly Cheese Steak, Kosher Hoagie and Banana pudding which was all delicious.“

“We were visiting the area from out of town and wanted to stop at crumbl cookies next door to this place. We decided to stop in and get a bite before heading home. They had a ton of selections and toppings. I got the M2O burger with the onion ring and special sauce, my sister got a classic burger and my daughter got a salad. Everything was delicious. The burger was hot, fresh and very juicy. I loved the pretzel roll and my sister said her potato roll was very soft and tasty. She especially liked the thick cut pickles. The onion ring on my burger was huge and crispy. I would definitely order those as a side in the future. The Crinkle cut sweet potato fries were equally delicious! We also got a Chocolate milkshake. They accidentally made it twice and instead of throwing the second one away, let us take it for free. All around good place and good people!“

The shack stack is one of the best burgers I've ever tasted and I will happily eat more every time I return.
