“What a find! Flavorful, decorative and clean atmosphere, and very economical. Was looking for a walkable place from PPG that's good for a group and it's literally right across the street. The menu is build-your-own so everyone can get what they want (think Chipotle for Mediterranean food - but much better quality and flavor!). It's very economical too, which is rare for this area. They even brought our group free lentil soup samples that were SO good! They have a kids menu as well. Will be coming again!“

“Bosphorus has the tastiest lamb kebabs, as well as an interesting selection of different types of grilled lamb and chicken, served with a delicious salad, sauce and rice. There are great vegetarian options, too and the owner/server has a great memory for your preferences. Outdoor seating was pleasantly shaded, and indoor is of course also available.“

“We loved The Forge! It is a smaller space, but very cozy and quaint. I'd recommend reservations for a Saturday night. You have a choice of a bar, high top, or couch/chair tables. Everything we had was delicious. We started with the hummus, a cheeseboard and a pizza. And then we had the Tiramisu dessert. We left very full. I would come back again.“

“I often work remotely from my laptop, and this shop has always been my go-to after moving to the Southside in 2020. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and the baristas are extra attentive and caring. I love this spot so much so that after two years of being a "regular" I started working here part time. As a customer turned employee, I can honestly say that being behind the counter is just as amazing as my experience from the other side of the bar. Lavinia puts so much heart into every detail and cares deeply about fostering a sense of community within the shop (for both employees and customers). “I placed a takeout order at the Fox Chapel (Pittsburgh) location on 3/29, around 5pm. I live in SE Virginia and my son’s father lives in Aspinwall, we were meeting 1/2 way in Maryland for spring break so I asked him if he’d pick up and take out order for me at the FC restaurant, and bring it with him and our son. (Nothing in my area compares to Aladdin’s!!). When I called, an amazing woman answered the phone, I asked ONLY if they could put the sauce on the side for my Shawarma so it wasn’t soggy 8 hours later when I’d be home to eat! Without second thought, she offered to make both of the Shawarma’s “deconstructed” with everything separate so I could “build” the wraps myself!! I also ordered the Dawali! When my ex handed me the bag and went to the cooler to get my food, I noticed what the crew had done…. They put everything in separate takeout containers and even wrote instructions on the Dawali container for me to heat, when I got home!! Everything was separate and the amount of extra time that was spent on the order was above and beyond!! It may seem simple, but for them to take the time and effort to make sure my food was just as good as it would have been if I ate in the store was really refreshing!! So THANK YOU to the Fox Chapel location for packing my order with such attention and my ex will be bringing a cooler with Shawarma’s and Diwali’s each time we meet in Maryland!!!“

“This local, family owned and run Mediterranean/Middle Eastern restaurant is worth the trip. The daughter was a delightful, helpful server, and her mother does the cooking in the kitchen. The ambience was simple but pleasant, and the tables, dining room and bathrooms were clean. The tabboolee (I’ve seen it spelled other ways, too, but this is how their menu spells it) was some of the best I’ve had. It was absolutely fresh and homemade with a perfectly balanced lemony dressing. The salad was really, really good having some sort of it grated feta on top, something we had never had before. Our favorite was the moussaka. It was awesome with a fluffy and creamy bechamel type sauce on top. We couldn’t stop making happy yummy oohs and ahs while eating it. The portions were very generous at a fair price making the meal a great value.“

We frequently order breakfast pizza on Sundays for brunch and eat it for breakfast the next day too.We love the Chorizo and Fontinella, the BBQ Hawaiian Chicken, the Chicken and Broccoli, and the Pesto Veggie gourmet pizzas. I love the Tuscan Chicken Salad. For something different I've been ordering Lamb Kebabs and the Schwarma platter. And if you like Baklava, they make both walnut and pistachio kinds! So good! And their delivery hours are later than others!“

“Really nice place for a good time and tasty food! I am actually quite impressed with how tasty the food was here. This place serves a variety of food items, from American burgers to Middle Eastern wraps. It seems like they are best known for their saj, so that's what I ordered. I tried the Arabic chicken shawarma saj with French fries.

It was delicious! The price was quite fair for the decently large portion. The chicken was cooked well and had nice spices with it. There was a sauce to put it all together. It was creamy and truly delicious. Some nice pickles for crunch, and the wrap itself was also pretty good. Very nice!

The French fries were kind of mediocre. They didn't have a ton of flavor to them and weren't that crispy. I would have probably been fine without them, or if I could, would have traded them for another side.

All in all, the main course (the saj) was delicious! I definitely recommend this place for some cheap food and a nice experience.

Kid-friendliness: Don’t bring your kids to a hookah bar!!!“

“This is one of the best pizza places I've visited in all my time across the states. The individual slices are absolutely loaded with every inexpensive topping you add, flavor as fresh as it can get. Their specialty pizzas are wonderfully crafted and unique, only thing I wished for was more napkins and a bigger stomach!
Pizza is very oily on some slices such as the Buffalo chicken but it is worth every drop on my shirt. WILL be coming back soon or next time I'm here!“

“The hospitality was impeccable. I felt so welcomed and appreciated. The staff were uncommonly kind and concerned. The grape leaves were delicious. It is a small space but enough room pairs or a quad. But the hospitality was enough to make me eager to return.“

“Over Eden hosted an incredible surprise 30th birthday party for me last night. The food and drinks were incredible and so reasonably priced for the amazing atmosphere that was provided. Our server Cody was so attentive and friendly, patiently took photos and made sure all of our guests needs were met. I tried tastes of the Cajun fries, artichoke spinach dip with pita, calamari and friend shrimp (LOVED the shrimp so fresh), pierogis (if you get angry when ordering them at other restaurants and being handed mrs ts these are perfect home made pillows for you), and the Korean short rib. This was the best birthday of my life and highly attributed by this venue and their staff.“
