“We finally ordered!!!! Not sure what took us so long! This cafe is such a gem! The atmosphere is so cozy and so cute! Was greeted by such a sweet girl! You really get a feeling of home away from home here. We ordered scrambled egg bowls with sausage and bacon, cheese and on a bed of tater tots. Wow! Absolutely to die for!!! I am such a picky food snob. This place out ranks any diner! You guys rock!“

“Let me tell you about my experience. This place has been around for years and the quality has never waned. Not only is the staff friendly, courteous, and helpful, the quality of what they offer matches few.
The Night Kitchen periodically provides treats for retired Catholic Sisters in Jenkintown!

“My sweetheart and I went here on our second date. The original plan was to meet at Dead King Bread in Manyunk, and then hike in the Wissahickon. Dead King was closed, however, and my sweetheart quickly suggested Roma Cafe as an alternative. I'm ashamed to say that I never knew about this bakery. When I think of Italian bakeries, I typically think of South Philly. This is the real deal. An interior that harkens back to earlier times, and probably owners that harken back to an earlier time!
It was here that I discovered that my sweetheart is extravagant with treats, especially sweets. As a bit of a minimalst, I chose a rather bland biscuit. He chose an array of half a dozen treats, including canolies.
When we eventually made our way to the Wissahickon, we discovered that we had each packed more treats for the hike - cheese, grapes. He brought the most wonderful brie from Trader Joes that was as soft and gooey as if you had baked it in the oven. I noted with approval that he was equipped with a good picnic bag, as was I.
As we walked through the Wissahickon, I was captivated by his friendliness to everyone we passed on the trails, including the dogs.
Everything was delicious, and I appreciated that the canolis were petite in size!“

“From the time I decided To walk in and get a pastry and something hot to drink, I was in love with it. It’s my favorite place to go to after work with friends. It’s a nice place to unwind and pull out your laptop and work as well. Love the Hot dog donut!!!! And the brownies.“

“Really nice small local ice cream shop with about 12 flavors to choose from. The ice cream is flavorful and creamy and the price is fair for the amount you get. Limited seating inside and unfortunately no seating outside, probably because of the neighborhood.

“The cake was the star of the show! Our family celebrated 50 years of emigration to the U.S. and the Lunar New Year. The cake we had envisioned was a three-layer cake, with each layer representing a generation. Frosted Fox turned it into reality. The cake looked amazing and tasted wonderful. “I wanted to leave a review to both rave about your fantastic baked goods and to thank you. My Mom suffered with gluten intolerance and then celiacs. This took away her ability to enjoy some of her favorite foods. We tried to find substitutes at the local grocery stores but nothing really took the place of her favorite baked goods. Finding you was a miracle! She loved your cookies, bread and Pumpkin Pie!! She looked forward to me bringing home her favorites and surprises like your pretzels and cinnamon buns each week. She just passed away a couple weeks ago but the memories of her enjoying your delicious treats will give me a smile every time I think about those times. Thank you for what you do to bring delicious baked goods to those with gluten intolerance.“

“I love Sweetah’s! I’ve been coming for over 5 years now, and it’s a staple in the neighborhood! Under new ownership, the recipes are the same and still taste amazing. They’ve been creating new treats, too. The atmosphere is always welcoming and warm. I love being able to request baked goods through Instagram and then going to get them the next day. “On a scale of 1-10, Park Ave Pastries deserves a 20! The cookies were works of art and were as delicious as they looked. Kim's talent and attention to details are impressive. “Our food was so fresh, fabulous and reasonably priced. The biggest challenge was whether to order one of the artisan wraps, hearty sandwiches, oversized salads or a creative breakfast item. “As a child, I went to middle school one block away from this diner. I walked by all of the time in those days today. Now i just drive by always wanted to stop but never did but I’ve always been curious so it’s 61 years old today. I had a couple of extra minutes and I stopped in and I must tell you I was very impressed, the food was very tasty portions. The place was clean and my server. Diane was awesome. “I ordered my husband's birthday cake from Ann's Cake Pan and it was delicious. It was a chocolate cake with hazelnut filling and vanilla buttercream. Bill was extremely helpful with taking my order. I am making this my birthday cake stop for now on. I'm sad that I lived in Warrington for 6 years and didn't know this tasty establishment existed. I'm going to refer everyone here!
