“My husband and I went to Meadowlark Bakery and Cafe this morning after learning that they hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for those who needed a place to go. We try to support places that support those in the community and do good. We’ve been there before for coffee and pastries, which are amazing, but we never had any other food. We have been missing out! We both got a breakfast sandwich and they were amazing! My biscuit was light and buttery, our eggs were perfectly fried, and both sandwiches had generous amounts of breakfast meat and came with tots. They had a wonderful Santa for the kids and a nice warm enclosed area for eating. Meadowlark, thank you for being a part of our community and helping those in need. It does not go unnoticed and we will absolutely be back to support you, your business, delicious food, and the good you are doing!“

You made a gorgeous celestial cake for my oldest during the pandemic and, most recently, a beautiful and delicious 25th birthday cake with the F1 theme she asked for. “Love your tomato pies and cold cuts. However, please do something about that vagrant that comes in on his bicycle on weekends. I was accosted by him in the parking lot and thought he was going to attack. I’ve also seen him on other occasions harass patrons that are coming in. It’s great to be empathetic towards the homeless and all, but not when they’re dangerous.“

“Ursa bread is fantastic. Since the pandemic when we were incredibly lucky to have this bread delivered to our door to now it has been consistently wonderful bread baked with love. I go to the farmers markets specifically for this bread. Philadelphia has a number of great new small bakeries but Ursa is at the top!“
