“Beautiful weekday lunch had here. First visit and I completely enjoyed it. Had turkey on croissant with arugula lettuce. Ice tea and then slice of pie( coconut cream). Service was excellent and a table of ladies oin front made the atmosphere terrific. Everything was fresh and l the coffee..absolutely iclyf fresh made. “I have enjoyed this place since it opened! The staff is magnificent. They are personable and take care of you! The atmosphere is wonderful. It is a wood decor. There is not a lot of seating inside, but there is ample seating outside. There is a good size parking lot (approximately 15 spots) and more parking right out front. The food and coffee is wonderful!The lattes are not extremely sweet of the syrups I get. This is a preference of mine real and strong coffee locally roasted!“

I had a special birthday this year and some great friends were flying in to help me celebrate. “From the tasting to after the wedding, Bredenbeck’s was amazing! The cake came out EXACTLY how I expected it to. It was beautiful! And it tasted amazing! All of my guests really loved every layer (each one was a different flavor). We had a small issue with the filling but Bredenbeck’s rectified the issue right away and took accountability! I look forward to visiting them for another cake order in the future!“

“We always use Yum Yum when we want to send a little box of happiness to family and friends. Their donuts are as wonderful to eat as they are to look at. It's a sweet way to say Happy Birthday or a thoughtful pick me up. All of the fillings here at Yum Yum were plentiful and delicious ~ the sugared Lemon was refreshing and light, the Creme Delight was topped with the most delicious chocolate. The Chocolate Thunder was a little disappointing ~ too, too many sprinkles that was a huge distraction from the chocolate icing ~ and this was the only donut that could have definitely used more filling inside. The Raspberry Jelly sugar donut was excellent ~ fresh and packed with lots of jelly, the Peanut Butter Cup was another winner with whipped filling and topped with chocolate and the Boston Cream was even better than expected ~ incredibly smooth custard and filled to the max. The service was outstanding ~ our server was happy to assist us with a courteous attitude and friendly smile.“

“I'm touched by the story behind Yia Yia's Baklava. I went to the store with my boyfriend. We got the 6 original pieces to try. It's nice to have a store dedicated to just selling baklava because it's one of my favorite desserts. The additional flavors are lemon and chocolate hazelnuts. The service was friendly and genuine. The store was spacious and clean. Overall, a good experience. Looking forward to trying their other flavors and maybe run into them at the local farmer's market.“

“I am not one to leave a review but I must share how amazing this bakery was to work with and how beautiful and delicious their cake was! Not only were they able to accommodate my custom cake request super last minute but they brought the inspiration photo I sent them to life in the form of the most flavorful cake that left all our guests raving and wanting more. The only downside was the fact that we didn’t have any left over to enjoy the next day! This will for sure be our go to bakery going forward!“

“You know this place is popular when there are people waiting outside the door at 9am right before this place opens. It was my first time here and upon arriving, 2 people were waiting to get in and 3 more trickled in minutes later. A line started to form and people are trying to get the tomato pie. I place an order for the regular tomato pie a few days ago over the phone but when I went to pick it up they didn't have my name. Luckily they had extras so I didn't have to order another. My friends really enjoyed the tomato pie so it's definitely as good as people say. Just be sure to double check the day before if you placed an order with them.“

“The man working behind the counter today was a KING. My friend and I stopped by for the first time and it was really close to closing. I was expecting to just kinda get in, fuel my sugar addiction, and leave. But this guy was LITERALLY. SO. NICE. We had a great conversation with him, and he was even kind enough to offer us two donuts and some cookies on the house. Not only that but those along with everything else we got tasted absolutely immaculateeee 10/10“

“Cute little shop! Amazing pastries, some items you wouldn't even realize is gluten free! The gluten free cupcakes were amazing and the kiffles melted in my mouth! Wish I lived closer but would def come out of my way to come here! “Ursa bread is fantastic. Since the pandemic when we were incredibly lucky to have this bread delivered to our door to now it has been consistently wonderful bread baked with love. I go to the farmers markets specifically for this bread. Philadelphia has a number of great new small bakeries but Ursa is at the top!“

“This small bakery is underrated in Norristown, I recently started coming in the mornings, they have delicious fresh buñuelos and empanadas. Recommend everyone one try this place. “First of all--I'm glad to be introduced to another Black owned bakery! And the customer service is great. My aunt located this place when looking for treats for my grandma's bday. Everything was delicious and were a hit with the family, including the cookies. They really have too many cupcake options to choose from ?. I recently stopped by and tried the delicious sweet potato & strawberry shortcake cupcakes. I also have tried the Oreo and Turkey Bacon ones, which were good, too. “I can't say enough good things about Meg and her work! She was absolutely fabulous to work with for my geeky 1950’s wedding. She was sweet, professional, and up to whatever challenge I could throw at her. From start to finish she was amazing to work with, our trial was delicious and we spent months anticipating getting to taste the amazing cake again. On our wedding day I was so excited to see our Doctor Who themed cake and cup cakes, it was more then I could have ever imagined it to be. All night people commented on the design of the cake, and once it was cut people commented on the taste. I am so glad I was able to save a few cup cakes to take home, I’m not sure we would make it a year to taste the cake again. “I enjoy Highpoint so much. The food is always delicious. I love the savory quiches. I’m pretty plain ordering herb tea or decaffeinated coffee. On the day we went there was only one staff for a very busy and full cafe. I hope the owners pay their people well and wish they had a plan for a sub to help out. Our barista was working very hard.“

“whenever I am in Chestnut Hill I always say that I am going to try this restaurant. Well today I did and It did not disappoint OMG…. The restaurant is quaint and cute. The service was excellent and the food was very good. I ordered the broccoli quiche with turkey bacon on the side. That quiche is like none I have ever tasted, flaky crust and the filling reminded me of soufflé but much taster. I also brought 2 cups cakes carrot and coconut to go. I’m sure they are just as good. I can’t wait to go back because I hear there is a different quiche each week. This is my new breakfast place for sure.“

“The. best. doughnut. ever. I'd once had the chance to try them years ago at a popup in a Whole Paycheck. But I remembered how impressive they were back then and could not believe my luck when I found them again. Haven't had the chance since I moved away but found out they do a Friday am popup at Naked Chocolate so I figured the sugar gods were in alignment and went for both. The raspberry/chocolate and Thai Tea donuts were exceptional in flavor, style, color, and dough quality--moist, right out of the oven taste and feel. Unfortunately I have to be back in town in 10 days or so and I will wake up early again so I don't miss out.“

“The crepes are great, and there are plenty of good vegetarian savory options, especially looking at the build your own option. The side salad is a highlight! We also tried the French toast crepe, which has an egg incorporated into the batter. Interesting. The espresso is good but the cappuccino is weird; they don't pour the milk through the crema at all, so it's mostly foam on top of a single shot. It can be folded through but I think next time I'd just get an espresso here. I really like that they have reusable cutlery and crockery, and service is brisk even when they're crowded. They also have a bunch of pastries if you're looking to grab and go. No parking lot but free street parking up to two hours. Friendly staff.“

“We orderd a very large quantity of heart shaped soft pretzels to give to out of towners staying in Philadelphia for a wedding. It was easy to place the order, the cost was reasonable, the pretzels were ready for pickup as scheduled (and they even offered advice on how to freeze them to keep them fresh for our guests), and most importantly, they tasted exactly the way Philly soft pretzels are supposed to taste. We needed the pretzels to be kosher and they are. The only negative was difficulty parking.Dietary restrictions: Kosher“

Expect some longer lines around the weekend, but the wait is usually quick (and always worth it). I worked with Jen to place the order and work on delivery details and she was super responsive and friendly. “I love bagel barn! I wish they were open on Mondays so I could start my week better! I used to be a regular at manhattan bagel till someone recommended bagel barn as they had better food. Boy, they weren’t wrong. Bagel barn does laps around the other bagel places in the area. I highly recommend getting the Wilbur breakfast sandwich and a dozen of bagels to go. They also have homemade cream cheese that is absolutely wonderful! If you’re looking for a fantastic breakfast bagel place, you need to try bagel barn!“

I left with 3x as much as I went in for & was not disappointed.? My top picks have to be the cream puffs filled with a delicious vanilla custard, flaky buttery huge croissants, and buttercream frosting..I mean the cupcakes! (with the amazing buttercream frosting) are the perfect size for cheating and not googeling weigh watchers immediately after.“
