“My husband and I went to Meadowlark Bakery and Cafe this morning after learning that they hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for those who needed a place to go. We try to support places that support those in the community and do good. We’ve been there before for coffee and pastries, which are amazing, but we never had any other food. We have been missing out! We both got a breakfast sandwich and they were amazing! My biscuit was light and buttery, our eggs were perfectly fried, and both sandwiches had generous amounts of breakfast meat and came with tots. They had a wonderful Santa for the kids and a nice warm enclosed area for eating. Meadowlark, thank you for being a part of our community and helping those in need. It does not go unnoticed and we will absolutely be back to support you, your business, delicious food, and the good you are doing!“

The very first bite reminded me of the lemon cakes my great-grandmother used to make, which made it feel extra special and nostalgic. Not only did it taste amazing, but it was also beautifully decorated to perfectly match my “Thirty, Flirty, and Thriving” birthday theme. “I ordered my husband's birthday cake from Ann's Cake Pan and it was delicious. It was a chocolate cake with hazelnut filling and vanilla buttercream. Bill was extremely helpful with taking my order. I am making this my birthday cake stop for now on. I'm sad that I lived in Warrington for 6 years and didn't know this tasty establishment existed. I'm going to refer everyone here! “This place was incredible. I was hungry and freezing when we got there. I got a croque monsuier ( fancy grilled cheese n ham with extra butter) delicious. A caramel macchiatto and a fruit tart. My Goodness...the cream and the pastry on that tart...problematic to say the least. So, so delicious. Very friendly atmosphere, very clean and efficient. I will definitely return. I just gotta be a little more regular at the gym.“

“First time trying crumbl and this location was close by so we stopped in. I didn’t like it was only a few selections to choose from saying though we wanted to give our honest review. They were nice and warm I can say and great presentation. I just wish I could have tried more flavors. The churro was my favorite by far and the cookies an cream cheesecake not so much. “I LOVE and 100% recommend The Famous 4th Street Cookie Company! Someone had their cookies mailed to me as a sympathy gift back in 2021. Since then, I myself have sent them to so many family and friends. Here are my top reasons for loving this company: 1. Their chocolate chip cookies are seriously so amazing! (and I am very particular about my chocolate chip cookies), 2. Their service is amazing! They respond to emails and phone messages really quickly and do what they can to help, 3. They are military friendly - whenever I need to ship to my nephew's military base in Alaska (which is very hard to get companies to deliver to by the way), they always help me out, get the shipping done quickly, and are super helpful. When my nephew gets the cookies in Alaska, they are always amazing. This is a great company that I will continue to use to send friends and family delicious gifts.“

“Ursa bread is fantastic. Since the pandemic when we were incredibly lucky to have this bread delivered to our door to now it has been consistently wonderful bread baked with love. I go to the farmers markets specifically for this bread. Philadelphia has a number of great new small bakeries but Ursa is at the top!“

“Yet another hidden gem in Philly. I came in for the first time today by chance and immediately felt so so so welcomed into the space. It is much smaller of a space than Madis Coffee Roasters (Twisted Grounds has only a few small tables to sit), but the staff is equally as kind, friendly, talkative, and enjoyable to be around. You can quickly tell that the team here has a great rapport with each other, and it makes the atmosphere comfortable and fun to be in. They have super cute merch and engaging conversations. I'm excited for this to be one of my regular haunts in Philly. The manager runs this place like a well-oiled machine.“

Everything here is really good! The sandwiches were fresh made and spectacular and honestly some of the best coffee ever.

The tornillos, quesitos (both guava & regular), and pastellios de guayaba were so good! They were a hit.

The service was spectacular too. Everyone is so kind and willing to help. 10/10“
