“My husband and I went to Meadowlark Bakery and Cafe this morning after learning that they hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for those who needed a place to go. We try to support places that support those in the community and do good. We’ve been there before for coffee and pastries, which are amazing, but we never had any other food. We have been missing out! We both got a breakfast sandwich and they were amazing! My biscuit was light and buttery, our eggs were perfectly fried, and both sandwiches had generous amounts of breakfast meat and came with tots. They had a wonderful Santa for the kids and a nice warm enclosed area for eating. Meadowlark, thank you for being a part of our community and helping those in need. It does not go unnoticed and we will absolutely be back to support you, your business, delicious food, and the good you are doing!“

“I love Adelie Coffee House. The coffee is simply delicious! It's rich, smooth, aromatic, soothing - like a warm blanket fresh out of the dryer. I've only tried the cheese danish. It was very good. The baristas are great - all of them. The coffee house itself is bare bones, yet clean and cozy. You have the option to sit outside if you like. I'm so glad this little gem is right down the street from my house.💜“

“This internet cafe is a great place. The owner is friendly and hospitable. It's very clean and bright in the establishment. It's very helpful when you need to make copies or look something up on the computer and print paperwork. This is a black-owned business that we need to support.“

“This was girlfriend and my second time going to DaVinci and Yu. We originally went because we won a gift card in a raffle, and we were reasonably skeptical of Italian Asian fusion food. With that said everything we've had has been absolutely amazing. At this point we've tried the ribs, salmon, meatballs, risotto, and dumplings. All of the meat has been tender and cooked to perfection with well balanced and interesting takes of tradition Asian and Italian sauces. Pairing with that we've tried most of the cocktails. They have a good mix of fruity modern cocktails and more classic cocktails, most which have a fun twist. I especially enjoyed the nonna and negroni. The staff is also incredibly friendly. It felt like being invited to a dinner party with that one friend who can cook, but with nicer decor.“

While the menu was interesting, seems like the kitchen was having issues with execution. Needed another couple runners and probably two more waiters/waitresses with a full house. Won't go back for food but if the music is good would get a seat at the bar.“

“Picked up a bag of beans after chatting with the Baristas about flavors I go for. The Rwanda beans they recommended have been a lovely addition to my morning. This was during the May street festival and they were cool & calm even with a busy crowd coming in and out of the shop.“

“What the heck did I get myself into. I googled cafes in this part of town because I was on a Sunday morning business trip. I pull up to the cafe with two entry doors which said members only……. Hesitant, I still proceeded to enter. Unsure of what I was going to encounter I felt like Liam Neesen in the movie Taken. It was a cafe filled with Eastern Europeans from middle age to elderly men mostly smoking cigars and cigarettes, mind you it’s 830am Sunday morning. I walked over to the cafe and asked for an espresso to go. Great coffee and great environment. This has to be the coolest cafe I have ever visited, I wish I got the gentleman’s name who pulled my shot he was really nice. Not sure if I was allowed to enter or not, hopefully I can come back and have a conversation along with another espresso.“

“We originally went for the Sushi to this kosher restaurant in Northeast Philadelphia on Castor Avenue -- but instead we enjoyed and could not have enough of: Halomi Salad and Mushroom Wheel. One was in a friendly, family environment that went over backwards to please you-- and it felt like you were being take care of by family -- in a small comfortable town in Israel. The Halomi salad's taste reminded one of someplace in the Galil that was so good and so impossible to find of any quality anywhere in the whole US; the mushroom wheel so unique and tasty that it could not be forgotten.“

“Korean bakery its the best bakery in pa md and Virginia and trust me when I say this im deep in connections in the dmv bakery. I cant say who but I know who supplies every farmers market and spans out alot of locations. Someone who knows French pastery. DC and Philly. I cant say ive tried every pastry in all 50 states. “We celebrated my Dads birthday at this location last Friday. Cafe Light was recommended to us by a mutual friend as a great spot to have lunch and celebrate birthdays. We gave it a try and could not be happier. The banquet area was sparkling clean, cozy, not too big, not too small, just perfect! The menu was outstanding! Selection of appetizers and main dish exceeded our expectations by much. Stuff was professional, attentive, we had everything we needed on time with no delays. “Light” is definitely a place to visit for event or to have a meal. Newly renovated, clean, delicious, cozy.
