“My wife and I had lunch there today I had the chicken fried steak and my wife had the chicken panni and French onion soup. The food was excellent the server Hailee was very good and very professional. She was also very friendly and very cute. If you are close to there definitely stop in.“

“My friend and I meet hear once a month for lunch. The food is usually very good. This is the first time I wasn't thrilled with what I got. I ordered a Philly cheese steak with hot peppers. I got the cheese steak but no hot peppers, instead I got green peppers that were cooked. The waitress said she had written hot peppers, she really couldn't do anything but to bring me hot peppers. A little disappointed. Always have had great service and great food.“

“I can’t say enough good things about American Star Diner! The food here is absolutely wonderful—everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious. You can really tell they care about quality.
The atmosphere is great, very welcoming and comfortable, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed meal. On top of that, the customer service was outstanding. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without hovering.
Best of all, the prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes and quality you get. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're looking for a great diner experience!“

“This was my first time eating at Ritz Diner. The place was clean, the service was super fast and friendly, and the food was fresh and delicious! Look at how fresh the toppings are on the cheesesteak. The salad bar was bery fresh and the soup was yummy. This will be my go to place to eat in north east Philly in the future. I didn't get the name of our waitress, but she did a great job.“

“There are 3 Foundational Black Americans working in John's Diner, and I'm telling you, if it wasn't for those 3 pros, John's Diner would be out of business. “I haven’t been to a diner in a while (since COVID closures) and tonight (September 15, 2023) I had a chance to get out to Suburban Diner for dinner. It was such a nice time to just sit in public and eat with friends. This diner is definitely a perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy my meal in comfort.“

“Its an old school diner that makes great breakfast, like the basic cheese egg omlette, pancakes, french toast, waffles, diner coffee etc. Everything is made with care, fresh ingredients and the customer service is always friendly and attentive. I also recommend it to people who like diners and diner style breakfast.“

“Matzo ball soup is the best I've ever had. I only eat it from here! The open face turkey platter is so delicious I always get it from here. This is me and my mother's lunch date every time we go shopping or doctors appt we stop here to eat!“
