“We probably should've ordered pizza, but we got a calzone and Stromboli instead. Both, though huge, we're OK. They had too much cheese, and the dipping sauce was not particularly great. Also, it was unseasonably hot today, and the AC wasn't working. Our server, however, was excellent, which brought things up to four stars.“

“While in State College for the weekend we decided to take a ride to Bellefonte for a quick bite and the check out the town of Bellefonte. The sign read world famous pizza or so I thought and pizza was just what we were looking for. Located right in the middle of town at the base of San Fransisco-like steep hill we had to find some parking which wasn't easy but we found some street parking right nearby. While the outside has an inviting, old time, small town appearance outside, the inside was amazing with lit up LED light across mounted tree branches that arched across the entire dining area in a warm glow over the private booths. We ordered our pizza and drinks and rather quickly our pizza was on the table smelling so good that we had a discussion about why it was different than the usual pizza. As we dug into it, the taste and crust was some of the best that we've had in a long, long time. We asked the waitress about the cheese and learned that it is a special blend of two cheeses that they prepare just right and it was quite obvious to us that it's true. The pizza crust was great as well just thick enough and crunch tasting oh so good. Price was great, atmosphere was great, service was small-town friendly and fun. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely come back!! Highly recommended as is the wonderful town of Bellefonte.“

“Only went because google said it was the closest place to my daughters house.Was greeted with a smile and friendly guy who I think was the owner. Ordered the sausage parm sub, which was fantastic! What was even better was the conversation with the owner and watching the employees hustle and make sure all the patrons were well taken care of and the food was made exactly the way they wanted it to be.I will be back every time I visit my daughter.Thanks for a great experience!!“

“Had a delightful and delicious lunch with friends at the Blonde Bistro. Shared an app of the Blonde Bombs (highly recommended!). Lasagna and pizza were amazing. Plenty enough to request take home boxes. Stromboli to go (for hubby) looks delicious and I'm sure it will be. And check out that gorgeous cocktail - a pineapple upside down martini. I hear it was very very tasty (as was my Rubio Mexican lager).Service was excellent - Chris, our server, was very attentive and checked in on us frequently. Ciara, the owner, even came to our table several times to chat and answer any questions we had. Food served quickly and correctly. We all left very pleased and each of us are looking forward to visiting again.“

“When we first walked in, we were a little uncertain as it was completely empty. But the place filled up quickly letting us know this was a great place. We are pretty sure the waitress was also the cook, but she did a great job of balancing everything. We saw no one else working. The food was amazing- really surprising giving the fact we only saw the cook working. I had the chicken parm and the other dish was a seafood vodka- and as you can see we cleaned out plates. Definitely exceeded expectations. A must try when in town!“

“Absolutely love grabbing takeout here. Possibly the best California cheesesteak currently available in the area. I also love the Italian grinder. Sometimes it's loud and hard to get your order heard over the phone but it's a bar so if it's extremely detailed you may want to go in. Always get someone different answering but for the most part everyone is pleasant and knows most menu items. Like I said I'm ordering takeout so I can't speak on dinning in which is normally a different experience an better service but I would definitely try their hoagies and sandwiches either way“

“Pizza is great, love that they have daily specials. The staff is friendly. Our family usually goes in and gets the $6 pizza and drink combo and it's usually slow inside during the week which is definitely nice, the waitresses have always been super attentive and make sure you're taken care of.“
