“Haven't been here in awhile and wanted to try it out as I have heard they have the best wings around. The staff was very welcoming as the place was more than half full. Sat in the back had a good view of the TV's. The waitress took our drink order. Good selection of beer on tap and bottles. Was back quick with the drinks and we already knew what we wanted. Ordered a dozen wings medium with Parm. Was only a few minutes and they were served. If you don't like celery you can get carrots by the way. The first few where great and then I hit a few that were over cooked and dry. I only had one flat all the others were drums. Sauce was light on my order to the point I didn't have anything in the basket to coat them up with. The other ordered was perfect with no issue. Will go back again. By the time we left the place was full. Kid friend and they have bigger tables for groups. Staff was excellent.Parking: Lot is t the biggest but you can park on the street behind as well.Kid-friendliness: Menu has plenty of options for families. They have two sections, tables in the back and high-top tables around the bar. Some tables have TV's on the wall at the table itself.Wheelchair accessibility: Have spot by the door, can easily accommodate guest coming in and out.“

“My husband, daughter and I were visiting from Canada last weekend and we had an amazing dining experience at Babe's. Our meals were top quality, presented beautifully and enjoyed thoroughly. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was welcoming. Thanks Babe's!“

“From their creative menu to their top tier ingredients, Black Gryphon is a must visit spot for any locals AND out of towner’s. Their fantastic “Chocolate Hot” is extremely noteworthy. From the several dishes I’ve tried, each one has been a home run. Be sure to get your burger “Super Saiyan Style”! Beautiful spot/people, will be back!“

“Steve is a great cook. takes pride in seasoning the food he serves to people. The bartenders are on it you get a drink very quickly. I usually get the gyro which is always tasty but got the burger sub tonight & it was great. Nice to still have a smoking bar with great food. Good specials to choose from. If you want great food & are a smoker here you go try it out they won’t disappoint you.“

“The food was sooo good and the weekly specials are unique. I missed out on a few but I had the chicken gnocchi carbonara today from the weekly specials and it was amazing. I had the shrimp chowder from the standard menu and that also blew me away! It was like I was in Maryland again! The only thing I did not like was that the tables are a bit low. But other than that 10/10!! I am definitely coming back!“

“Was the first time I’ve felt pleasantly surprised when I opened the bill eating out with a family of 4 in a long time. Has the cheeseburger and gyro. Both were great! Had a gluten free bun option for the cheeseburger. Highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options.“

“This is such a down to earth hometown little bar and grille. Clean, great service, friendly atmosphere, and yummy food. In town for the weekend and it fit the bill for dinner each night if you are not looking for extravagant and looking for simple.“

“Came in on a random Thursday night, traveling in from out of town. Looking for a spot to get some good Indian food and beer(s). I can say the lamb jalfrezi was on-point. Spicy and flavorful. Slow cooked in the way that’s hard to do from a microwave. Ingredients were clearly fresh. Full bar and decent selection of draft beers and traditional bar food. Seems like a fun neighborhood hangout spot. You’re probably going to need to park on the street or walk. Will return.“

“Nice old school from the past restaurant and bar with a classic car atmosphere...small but very comfortable bar and great old school classic car decor in dining area...nice outdoor seating for warm weather...food is good with specials...this would also be a great bike destination..“

“It was ok. The service from the bartender was great and the food didn't take long to come out. I ordered 6 wings fried hard, but they weren't fried hard enough. The chicken tasted like Chinese style chicken wings, which made sense once I saw the cook. If I wanted Chinese, I wouldn't go to a bar.“

“We celebrated our daughter's birthday with her friends and our waitress was so helpful! We brought in a birthday cake and our waitress was gracious enough to bring the cake to the kitchen and they cut it and served it. We had the pasta by the way and it was delicious! We'll be coming back again to try the other items on the menu.“

“I can't review the course itself but my daughter's wedding reception was held here in October. If you are looking for a reasonably priced, scenic venue then this might be your place. It's located on a high point in Middletown overlooking the Susquehanna River. Three Mile Island and the airport are right nearby (and this worried me a bit) but they don't distract from the beautiful view. The outside deck is gorgeous, unfortunately we had a cold day so couldn't enjoy it as much as we had hoped. But I can imagine it would be a perfect spot for a wedding ceremony (or just a great party) in good weather. The buffet style meal was very tasty, no complaints there, and again the price was quite reasonable. Unfortunately there are a couple of reasons I can't give it 5 stars. There were only 2 serve staff on site for our 80 guests. One tending bar and the other apparently doing everything else. So things didn't get done quite as fast as I would've liked. The other thing that bothered me was the huge stains on the carpet (however when I said something to my mom she hadn't noticed). That being said, in the end it worked out very well and I think everyone had a really good time. I feel like this venue is just a little rough around the edges but has great potential!“

“got cheeseburgers and fries to go. the meal was PERFECT, even as a takeout. the fries were crispy to perfection, the burgers were cooked exactly as we asked, the portions were generous and the price was reasonable for what we got. this will be our go-to burger and fries place! hope to try other meals in tje future “

Just as I was thinking that, I was guided to the second floor.I wish I had followed my father's advice that ``pasta is recommended''...The pasta was drowning in the thick soup, and the alcohol went on and on as I ate the thick, sticky soup. I ended up drinking a lot of alcohol with the pasta I was given!Mom's main dish is steak salad. picture? Will salad be the main thing? →There was a very large piece of meat sitting on top of the salad.I'm a hamburger!was delicious! But I want to try more things... “We checked out Underdog while visiting Harrisburg. The restaurant accommodated our party of 20 without hesitation. When we arrived, the staff was friendly and helpful. The food was awesome and everyone's food arrived at the same time amazingly!“

“The food is surprisingly good. The ambiance is usually laid back except for Friday and Sat night when it's gets packed for lots of fun with karaoke and other fun stuff. The service really stands out due to the excellent and experienced bar staff. Go here it's a good time.“

“Went there a week or so ago with family that came in from out of town. We had a person with a gluten allergy, but she found the steak salad on the menu and was very happy with it. All of the food was great. The service was fantastic. And the prices were reasonable (for the world we are in right now). Have gone there a few times over the past few years and really don't ever recall having a bad meal or service. We will definitely be going back and really looking forward to trying the all you can eat crab in the summer... that sounds amazing!“

“We attended our fire company's installation banquet here . This was our first year using this venue, and we loved it! The food was excellent, the atmosphere was great, and the service was quick but not at all intrusive. I hope the fire company chooses this location again next year!“
