“Chinese restaurants like this are a dying breed. I'm old school with a lot of things in life, basically because I love quality and traditions !This place has all the bells and whistles when it comes to classic great Chinese hospitality. Great food, yes but I also want good hot tea ! Fried noodles with 2 dipping sauces...things that are being forgotten at newer places. This is my new favorite hot spot ! If you also crave the good ole days without the trip to China Town Center City...this place is perfection !“
“I'm noticing the average review for this restaurant is below a four. That rating is too low for a restaurant like this we always get it delivered and it is amazing the pork fried rice is the best and the spare ribs are perfect everything else I've tried is good too.“
“What good is great food if the service is not good? I would like to HIGHLY RECOMMEND the service of my waiter JASON. THE BEST!! I didn’t read any reviews for this company so my review is strictly based on FACTS. I highly recommend Jason, for future reference because his customer service, infinite subject matter expertise and downright GREAT moral compass is always on full display. As a former talent manager, Jason is the total package! He is the consummate professional and his knowledge of the menu without looking at it is phenomenal. Jason recommended several dishes and his recommendations were excellent. We rotate each recommended dish each visit. Jason is professional, friendly, morally centered and he me feel like it wasn’t just a dining experience. Despite it usually being full most times we dine, Jason checked on us several times and he intuitively knew what to say and do. We really enjoyed the food but the EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE was priceless. Thank you Jason and I wish you the best in all endeavors. PF Chang’s you have a diamond ? in the rough in Jason, promote him now“
“ive been to many american chinese places in philadelphia- Asian Bamboo is definitly one of my top 3! Their chickn & broccli is uncompatable! They have very fresh food. Also, as an added bonus have sushi ....again extremly fresh and tasty! i drive 15 minutes past probly 15 other chinese resturants to get my take out here!“
“Great service! Very modern, elegant seating with pop music in the background. Plenty of free parking in their lot.The good: In addition to the aforementioned - Yummy boba. Some of the best jajang mein I’ve ever tasted; the sauce is rich and full of flavor. Breading on their popcorn chicken was yum. Love they have a reward program (Toast - $5 off for every $50 you spend). The meh: The prices are steep. Boy, I know we had inflation and maybe they don’t have much competition around, but get ready to spend a pretty penny. The rose blossom drink has very fruity overtones; maybe some people like that, wasn’t for me. And would recommend a container that has more airflow for popcorn chicken because it gets soft very quickly when it’s completely airsealed for take-out.All that being said, I would totally come back when I’m in the area. It’s a nice treat!“
“We had a wonderful early dinner today and the food was excellent! The service was very friendly and we especially enjoyed a nice quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Bruce visited us and he pays close attention to every detail. We will be back soon.“
“The food is delicious and it's fresh! The staff are very polite and courteous. This is the only Chinese restaurant that I go to. I've tried other places, and they don't even compare. I will always recommend this place to anyone!“
“Fuji Asian is amazing! I have tried all of the restaurants in the area, and Fuji is by far the best of them all! Not only is their food incredible, the prices are extremely reasonable. I come every other week and always get the steak hibachi. Consistency and quality are important and it’s always amazing every time. They also have the best spicy mayo, which I love! It is a family owned restaurant and I would advise anyone in the area to support this local business. Give them a chance and like me, you will become a customer for life! Thank you Fuji“
“It’s been a few months since I last ordered from Asian Fresh Kitchen. As they say first impressions last !! The first time I ordered here the food was amazing, the second not so good. Last night feeling under the weather, I decided to give Asian Fresh Kitchen another shot.II ordered General Tso’s chicken, vegetable, lo mein, one shrimp roll, and two orders of chicken on a stick. I ordered on Uber eats and within about 20 minutes the driver arrived. the food was delivered in a paper bag that was sealed. The food was piping hot. I was really impressed with how well it was packaged. To my delight General Tso’s Chicken was moist, savory, spicy and delicious the broccoli was perfect !!! The vegetable lo mein was very tasty ? The noodles were cooked to perfection !! Chicken on the stick was a first for me. I thought that it was Salty, crunchy and very tasty and lastly the shrimp roll was moist and delicious.I’m not sure what happened this past summer when something just seemed to change here but regardless these pictures and this tasty food says that Asian Fresh Kitchen is back on track serving delicious savory Chinese food !! Take a look ? you know your mouth is watering, so do what’s right and make that phone call and order some of this amazing food !!! Well Done Asian Fresh Kitchen !!“
“Solid to go lunch options and one of the few prices point you'll still find for under $10 for lunch. No frills take out joint. The lunch egg roll has been downsized a bit here to more of a spring roll. The fried rice is passable but not the best out there.“
“My husband and his family have gotten food from Sandy (owner) since he was a little boy and now he is in his 40s with a family of his own. Even though we don't live close by for delivery anymore, we still order from them and I will go and pick up the food. Their food is delicious, the price are reasonable and the service is great. Sandy and her team are awesome. When I go to pick up my food and get to watch her in action, it amazes me how she remembers her customers' names, thus the loyalty she gets from repeated customers. She is so nice too. Not only do we order food for our meals, I also like to order her food for parties that I host. Price are reasonable and my guests always compliments the food. Less cooking I need to worry about. Some of our favorites when we order are: general tso chicken, fried wonton (my husband only like hers), sum gum lomein, pork fried rice, chicken wings, boneless spare ribs (one of the best...i tried other places... not the same), spare ribs, stir fry pork bean sprout (i don't see this on other Chinese food menu), sweet and sour chicken. Shrimp egg foo young, and her soups. We tried other items on her menu, but these are our favorites.“
“I called them if I can pay by cash when they deliver and they were very informative and nice about it. They close at 11:30 at the time of ordering and I ordered at 11:00 and they came around 11:40, they were not mad about it at all and the food was sooooo Delious. 2 fried rice with orange chicken and god was that chicken so good“
“Food. This place is now the best dim sum anywhere in the city. And for dinners they are well known for the fresh lobster. Get it with hot peppers or with salt/pepper.Service. The owner is always on site, tireless and attentive. Staff are dressed on point and an extension of her charisma.Atmosphere. This venue hosts the main Chinese New Year and community events every year. You can see all the Chinatown restaurateurs and community builders here. This is the place that organized to change Phila voting ballots to add a third language choice next to English and Spanish, reflecting the new demographics of the city.“
“We ordered online for Christmas Eve Dinner it was easy & quick & you could leave any special requests with each dish It said 45-60 mins & it was here in less then 25mins & each request was done & FOOD WAS AMAZING TY King Wok for making our Night so AWESOME!“
“If you want wonderful food that’s always fresh and people who are kind to you everytime you walk in Golden China is the place to be! I don’t order out often but Golden China really is one of my favorite places to order from! And the sweet girl who always answers the phone i just want to say thank you! You are always so kind to my mom everytime we order with you guys. They even leave sweet little notes on my mom’s egg roll bag! I love you guys and even if i move across the country you will forever be my favorite Chinese food spot! Egg Rolls? CRISPY. Chicken ? DELICIOUS! I’m Haitian and I’m very picky about my rice and every bite feels like you’re floating on a cloud. Love it love it LOVE IT!“
“Wonderful family owned restaurant with great service and great food. Went here with my daughter for the first time and the smell of the food was so good we couldn’t wait to get home to dig in. I recommend the beef with string beans. The taste didn’t disappoint. We will be back!“
“An exceptional dining experience. The food and service were very good. Staff was friendly and we did not wait long for our food. Green tea and friend noodles are in every table as you sit. We are absolutely delighted with our experience and will continue to dine there.“
“We ordered late, at 9:30 pm , for delivery. The came fast, hot, and delicious. First, sorry for the late order, our cat went into labor earlier today and we lost track of time. Second, thank you so much for the continued excellent food and service.“
“I highly appreciate this restaurant and the hard working and courteous restaurant staff. We as a family have eaten here for lunch and dinner, experiencing very well prepared meals including the steamed dumplings, chicken with vegetable sauté, hot and sour and wonton soups and chicken as well as shrimp with black bean sauce. In addition to an efficient and attentive server staff, a very helpful Manager Allen made a point to come over and greet me, my Bother & Sister-in-Law and my Aunt and Mom, giving my Mom & Aunt a slice of ice cream cake with candles spontaneously (when he learned that we were celebrating my Aunt and Mom's Birthdays)! Highly recommended“
“I seriosuly drove 40 minutes more only to eat in here rather than going to other hmart. There Jjam-bbong is more like a Gyo'dong style, which has a very deep and smooth soup, loved their noodle and Tang-soo-yook as well.I highly recommend Kongnamul Gochu Jjam-bbong.It's a truly great tasting party. Gyodong Jjamppong has been well researched and the soup has a strong aroma and taste, but it's not too irritating or irritating and has a high level of taste bb.“
“Been craving Chinese for over a week now. So good totally hit spot. Chicken broccoli house fried rice was perfect. Crab ragoon was good. The only complaint I had was that the general tsos chicken was too hard I couldn't really chew it. I was upset cuz it did taste good and I couldn't eat it. Would definitely order from here again tho“
“Your boneless Duck in brown sauce and vegetables is the best. It went up in price a few dollars but it’s worth it. Best Duck I ever had and I’ve been around a long time. Your General TSO’s chicken is also the best I’ve ever had and my wife confirms that. Along with a side of Pork Fried Rice, oh boy yummy. Best Chinese Food by far.“
“My wife and daughter had take out about week ago and loved it. They raved so much, it wasn’t a hard sell for me to try it. We were going to eat in but bc of a time crunch we chose take out again. 100% definitely a winner. Food was awesome and price was really good for the quality AND quantity of food that we received. Our next visit is definitely going to be an eat in experience.I loved the food, but I was even more impressed by the customer service. As we waited for our food, the owner greeted each and every take out customer by name and knew their order. He even made a joke when one customer didn’t have his regular order. I heard him ask about other family members, or neighbors and this was not just one or two take out customers, there had to be at least ten that came while weWe’re eating for our food.If you want great food and a great atmosphere, run don’t walk to Wing Lee.“
“I've ordered from this place a few times now since I moved to the area. It's hard to find decent Chinese food in bucks county, so I was pleasantly surprised to find this place. The food is always good and the things I order are always flavorful. They give you large portions as well. The prices are good too. I have never eaten in this establishment, only take out. So I don't know how the service is.“
“Everything here is delicious (like travel 20 minutes out of your way just to satisfy the craving delicious) but their crab Rangoon are hands down 100% the best I’ve ever had and will ever have. They clearly make them in house and use a full tablespoon of Philadelphia cream cheese in each one. Unmatched, I will always love you Mings!!“
“I ordered Singapore noodles and two spring rolls the other day and to much delight it tasted great. It’s best to eat spring rolls as fast as possible for a crispier taste. The Singapore noodles I ordered was mild spicy and I would totally recommend others to buy it. It’s a thin noodle with great texture and flavor and the lady working behind the counter was so nice as well. Overall, great restaurant and if you haven’t tried their food yet, give it a try.“
“This place lives up to its name, the sea food is good and they do serve snow crab legs and their not afraid to put them out there unlike other places, most of the food is hot or warm very rare to get any cold food here.Parking: It's a big parking lot at a small shopping center, had space for at least 100 cars.“
“The restaurant has a wide variety of dim sum plus many other dishes. While it is possible to find alone, I recommend at least two people to share dishes and tastes. The centerpieces of the fun sun are the soup dumplings with instructions regarding how to eat them. Good is brought to your table by a robot (that may have good for more than one table), and a server quickly appears to put your dishes in your table.Recommended.Parking: There's a parking lot that serves this small center.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp from the parking lot leading to the front door of the restaurant.“
“The owner Lien Jie, Lily even the chef are so friendly and helpful. They remember our preferences. We always order their takeout for our office and home.I love their Crab Meat & Dry Scallops Fried Rice. I can say it’s the best best best in the area!!! Hongkong cooking style, reasonable price and lots of selections in the menu.Highly recommend to anyone!“
“I decided to try a new place for Chinese takeout. Food was delicious, fresh and not oily. We got the Wonton soup, Shrimp in garlic sauce and Shrimp and lobster sauce combination plates. I highly recommend it. I am posting current menus since others found online do not show their current prices. I dated the menu.Parking: Restaurant is in a corner of a large strip center with plenty of parking.“
“Ordered takeout ahead on their easy to use website for a quick bite while running errands. My dinner consisted of the Naruto appetizer and for my entree the Szechaun delight. Fresh seafood in the app was amazing. The entree had huge chunks of chicken paired with shrimp and veggies in a szechaun sauce with a hint of spice. It was delightful. Can't wait to dine in. 10 out of 10!Dietary restrictions: Extensive menu options include vegan, gluten free and nut free choices.Parking: Located in a shopping center. Parking is plentiful.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp outside the door.“

“The food was fresh and tasty. I was pleased to see that they use all real seafood products in their recipes. So many places are switching to imitation seafood and charging non imitation prices. Prices are a bit higher but you get what you pay for!“
“Best Chinese food I have had since I moved to Philly a little over a year ago. My family now orders chineese food exclusively from there because nothing else even come ls close to how good this food is. I have tried many different dishes from there and every single one I tried was great! Highly recommended“
“Wings are fried to perfection in a clean workspace (atleast it's cleaner than most establishment) Been watching imperial turn to Kensington and Allegheny. Haven't had a bad experience yet at the kitchen. Just my humble opinion which isn't worth much. Do your homework “
“Why do Thia restaurants always claim Japanese fist in their name? I learned much conversational Japanese while training with Hikaru Nakamur and am almost certain no one here speaks it. I notice the same thing with Pakistani restaurants, they always put Indian in their name first.“
“The First Restaurant Where They Make Perfectly Cooked And Tasty Meat...(The only thing not pleasant) is that the rice with vegetables, they don't cook it with soy sauce, anyway, everything is perfectly tasty ???Vegetarian options: There are variety of foods with vegetables.Parking: The Restaurant Does Not Have Its Own Parking, If There Is An Empty Space On The Road Or The Neighborhood, It Parks You And You Order And Pick Up The Food.Kid-friendliness: There is a variety of food for children, but NOT to stay to eat“
“Got the Sweet n Sour Chicken Combo, was very good, really good portions. Its rare that you get an egg roll and soup with the combo anymore. Delivery driver was nice. Without asking they made sure I had utensils since staying at hotel. They'll definitely be getting my business again.“
“Food is ok here. I recently moved to the Allegheny area of North Philly, which is rundown and in need of gentrification. The outside of this Chinese Take Away is very noticeable with its bright colors. The order area is encased in bulletproof glass because of the sketchy area. I ordered Happy Family and Wonton Soup; both of which were flavorful and not greasy. The only downside that I see to this place is the lack of acceptance of credit cards. There are atms inside, but with all the sketchy people around, I wouldn't risky using the atm inside. Arrive with cash ready!“
“Their food is delicious and have great portions at reasonable prices. If you come once or twice a week you will be highly favored. The owner is a kind sweetheart and she brightens up the day. Highly recommend. Their timeline isn’t how it is on google though. So the time May very on certain days.“
“"I recently dined at this restaurant located in castor ave, and overall, I had a pleasant experience. The restaurant offers a cozy ambiance and the quality of their food was impressive. However, I did encounter some communication issues with the server, which slightly affected the dining experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, creating a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy the meal. The decor was tastefully done, incorporating traditional Chinese elements that added to the overall charm. The food served at the restaurant was delicious and well-prepared. I opted to try the best sellers, but unfortunately, due to the language barrier, I encountered some difficulties in communicating my preference to the server. As a result, I ended up ordering noodles, which were still tasty but not the original dish I had in mind. While the service was generally fine, the server's limited English language skills made it challenging to convey my specific choices. Though they were polite and attentive, I would suggest that the restaurant considers providing English-speaking assistance to facilitate better communication. In conclusion, this Chinese restaurant offers a delightful ambiance and delectable food. However, it's important to note that there might be communication challenges if you don't speak Chinese, and it's advisable to clarify your order using simple and direct language or explore the available alternatives for assistance. Despite this minor setback, I would still recommend giving this restaurant a try for the flavorful cuisine and enjoyable dining atmosphere." I hope this review helps!“
“I’ve been ordering from this store since I was 14 years old. I am 29 now and I’ve RARELYYYY ever have a problem. They know my number and house when I call and they know my favorite order and they ALWAYS make sure my step dad gets NO PEAS in his meals.I’ve only ever witness them mess up the no pea thing once. And the owner guy ( so sad I don’t know his name) came and redelivered the platter himself. Food is always good and hot.Now the lady who answers the phone however. I don’t have anything nice to say about her unfortunately“
“Everything I get from here is delicious. They are so kind and respectful and they actually remember their frequent customers and our orders. I feel more like family when I come here! I have the number stored under my favorite!! I love the food and how I'm treated that makes me feel good to spend my money with them. I absolutely Love their shrimp rolls, and my favorite chicken on a stick. Their fried chicken is always good as well. Watermelon super fresh and sweet ?“
“I live near my entire life (30 plus years) and have been getting takeout here through multiple different owners. Good, hardworking people making delicious cheap food. Cash only. ATM available with a fee. I’ve ordered and wasn’t able to pick up my food right away and he walked my food down the block and to my door. Let me hang missing flyers in the window. Great people“
“Grabbed two lunch specials to go while in the area and was delightfully surprised! I got the beef with string beans and the shrimp lo mein—both were freshly made to order, and came with delicious pork fried rice and a chonky eggroll. The lady who took my order was friendly and patient, and the two chefs in the back clearly enjoy their work! They both were quick with the wok and smiling while preparing my food.My husband and I said "mmm" many times while we were eating. The flavors are bomb and aren't too salty. Will be back to try other dishes when I'm in the area. When it comes to American Chinese food, you can't do better than China House when it comes to the taste, portion, and service for the price!“
“Excellent customer service! They’re really nice about taking your order, give options and re-ask to make sure you get the right order. The food’s pretty clean - not a bunch of grease. And very reasonably priced too. Gf liked her veg lo mein and my ribs were pretty good. Not a lot of honey or sugar flavor but really solid. I’m sure there’s nothing bad on the menu and definitely will be back .“
“I had a taste for ribs but didn't want to cook them myself and this place did not disappoint....I got the large and the whole platter was full....it had good flavor but giving it 4 stars because I had to put them in the air fryer for a few minutes....I just felt like they could of been cooked “
“Sometimes I need Chinese food late night, or maybe I will go here to use their ATM: but nevertheless, it is a convenience that I have used over and over again, and it's good.Vegetarian options: Many of their appetizers, and entrees posted, give you the option to order them without any meat“
“SIMPLY THE BEST CHINESSE RESTAURANT IN THE AREA. We go all the way from Hatboro to this place because is good. They put lots of different vegetables. It is the best in this area. It is not gourmet but the average Chinese restaurant is the best. The people is super nice. The guy cooking is real Chinese and you can tell that he cares. You go to other places, and they just put a bunch of broccoli with a little bit of sauce and they call it Vegie Mix, here, you get a variety of vegetables. The food WAS NOT salty at all, natural.“
“For the second year in a row, we hosted our family reunion dinner for 30 people in the China Wok's lovely event room on a Saturday evening. Everything was perfect due to owner Lin's attention to detail. She met in advance with me to plan the menu, taking into consideration our budget, dietary preferences, and the mixed age group of 2 months to 97 years. The decor was pretty, the servers were pleasant and helpful, our guests loved the food! The platters came out looking as visually pleasing as they were tasty. Nothing was too much trouble for Lin! We are grateful to the China Wok for the special time we shared with our family there.“
