“My husband and I stopped here today for the first time in our five years living in the neighborhood. He had the steak Stromboli and I had a mushroom cheesesteak. I have to say it was the tastiest food I have had in a long time. The staff was very warm and pleasant. We are certainly going to be regulars now.“

“the girl on the phone answered me very rudely, it took me a couple of seconds to hear her voice because the noise around me prevented me from placing an order, I didn’t hear her and she was angry and hung up. I called back to complete the order, but in response they picked up the phone and disconnected the connection. I changed the star to 4 just for the sake of their pizza, it's really tasty. and the owner himself politely asked to correct this situation by responding to my review. I think I'll come back to them“

“My family and I’ve been here a handful of times. We’ve enjoyed birthdays and time with friends. The food is delicious and tastes like home made Italian cuisine. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, while the service is timely and our servers were always attentive, whether we were outside or indoors. I highly recommend this spot to friends and will be back for another date night/special occasion!“

“We loved the delicious pizza! My favorite is the funghi. My boyfriend loved the hot honey pepperoni. The little pepperoni and the whipped ricotta were perfect on that pizza. And I loved that there was lots of fresh basil. The cheesesteak was good. We love a seeded roll and well seasoned ribeye. However, the one drawback for me is that they don't have long hot peppers! Verona is still an excellent spot. If I absolutely need a long hot pepper cheesesteak, I'll go to Del Rossi's in Philly. The staff at Verona were super friendly and nice and patient with us while we figured out what we wanted. We will definitely be back! Thank you“

“Uptown vibes vegan pizza was good,
The crust was square deep dish chicago style, very good sauce. tons of cheese didn’t really taste the kale nevertheless, spot on! little on the expensive side.
Thai cauliflower wings , perfectly done, tender on the inside crispy tempura batter on the outside very good sauce
Spicy crab fries need work no crab flavor, kale was there but lacking flavor, plenty of cheese on fries, cheese was cold and the fries were little bit dry and cold.
The Fries are overpriced, thicker cut fries would be better.
The blueberry lemonade and a cucumber, mint lemonade a perfect combo with the pizza
This is a very nice place for takeout. The decor is right on with the whole mission. I read a chapter of the book while I was there Muhammad is inspiring.
I think it’s admirable the way they give back to the community. Hope that they will get some sit down seating in the future currently it has barstool and counter seating, would love to see some outdoor seating. Overall a nice experience, reason for four star atmosphere was a little bit loud hard to talk to my friend.
And as far as the food goes a little bit pricey overall, that’s just a personal opinion if it works for them that’s all that matters definitely will be back.“

“I’ve been coming here since 1964 and it’s still just as good! Hands down- best pizza in Philadelphia! The brothers/brothers in law have retired, but one of the sons is carrying the legacy forward. All they sell is pizza and soda, and only beef and beef pepperoni toppings. It’s no frills, but worth the ride I make every so often from Chestnut Hill. I only wished they took credit cards and stayed open later, but I understand. If you’re a pizza snob like me, do yourself a favor and try King of Pizza?“

Two veggies and one bruschetta. The bruschetta was as ordered and very good. We only received one veggie Panini and got some other grilled chicken with lettuce and tomato?? Also the veggie Panini on their menu and online says grilled eggplant, instead it was two large fried pieces of eggplant on each half. Very generous sandwich but couldn’t eat most of it because of the fried eggplant.😫“

“I met Marcello and Kiley the week before and New Hope and they invited us to come and have dinner this weekend. We went on Friday and had the back room basically to ourselves there was 10 of us. The food service was outstanding! Came and spoke with us several times, the chef came out, and said hello, our waitress Heather was absolutely incredible so efficient, and yet so loving! we were spoiled rotten! Everyone took home so much food because the portions were enormous. The prices were totally reasonable. The pizza is perfectly balanced, the wings are 10/10, the mini pizzas are delicious and thick, the meatballs- you HAVE TO try the meatballs. The subs are also stuffed to the brim on fresh bread. The delivery is also always fast and the guys that deliver are super nice. The owner is a great guy. He patiently answers your questions, fixes any problems ASAP, and has the old school Italian charm that makes you warm and fuzzy. I am so thankful for the crew at DiVincenzo's. The portion size was generous, but the salmon was a bit overcooked. The cocktails are varied and absolutely delicious and clearly made with care. The servers have been friendly and attentive. “I’ve been coming to Cosimo’s since 2007, and it’s still my favorite lunch spot in Chestnut Hill. The food is always fresh and delicious. I love the Meat Lovers and Chicken & Broccoli pizzas, the Santa Fe Salad, and those soups? So comforting. Their fries are hands-down the best in town.

It’s a warm, family-owned place with kind folks and a welcoming vibe. I’ve brought friends, co-workers, and my kids here over the years, even my grown kids still rave about the cheesesteak!
