“Good food nice atmosphere and friendly staff“

“I always try to find the best local restaurant in every town that I visit. Benjamin‘s clearly is an excellent example of an owner, taking pride in their restaurant. Between the cleanliness and the excellence service, this restaurant gives you everything you would want when you visit Western Pennsylvania. The dessert menu constantly changes and is a representation of the owners creativity. Everything on the menu is worth trying at least twice. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.“

“Cindy K. is a fantastic server. Very friendly and on top of everything. She always knew when my husband would need a coffee refill and she always had a fresh pot ready. She anticipated we would need boxes for our leftovers and that we had probably saved room for a piece of pie before leaving. She had great suggestions for dessert. She was so kind when I spilled my water - twice! I must have been having a klutz day but she never made me feel bad about it. We had a few laughs about it and other things. She was friendly and caring but not overbearing. She got it just right. She had lots of tables but gave everyone the attention and care they needed. She has regulars, and you can see why. They love her and so do we. We'll ask for her every time. The food was good. My pet peeve is shredded lettuce on a sandwich (which everyone seems to do), which is just a mess (please just use a leaf of lettuce) but other than that, the food tasted great and certainly was plentiful. Prices are certainly going up, as they are everywhere, but it is a little daunting to end up with a bill for $50-$60 when we were used to our bill being more like $30. It's a good thing we will get another meal out of our visit.“
