“This place is unbelievably good. I was in town for a trial a few months ago. I ate here the first day for lunch and then returned for lunch every day after. The owners were really nice, attentive and welcoming. And the food was just soooo good. Highly recommend!“
“Recommended by Derek @ Philly Street Candle Bar, and WOW. Food was amazing, staff all so personable, very clean establishment and had several seating options. Three of us ordered and shared - from the appetizers to wood-fired pizza to dessert - each served after we finished the previous item (only mentioning as it's the correct manner to serve but doesn't happen everywhere and does make a difference) and HAVE to mention the martini's - WOW again! We were very surprised by the bill - much lower than we expected. We had a wonderful experience, very relaxing, great food & drinks. This is a gem in Indiana. We will be back very soon!“
“at least 9 tables that can seat 4 and at least 3 that can seat 2. staff were nice. seated almost immediately (a little bit before lunch rush). ordered a small (12 in) cheese pizza that cost $12 (12.72 w/ sales tax). i believe the owner/manager stopped by our table after we ordered and refilled our waters and asked if we needed anything to go with the pizza (parmesan, etc). restaurant & its bathrooms are very clean.Dietary restrictions: it had heart healthy and gluten free options“
“With the right expectations, Bob's Pizza is amazing. So before you walk into this joint let me set you up right.First of all, this place feels like walking into a time-machine to the 1990s (in a good way). It scratches the nostalgia itch like no other. There's a coin pusher in the corner that a kid stares at while his mom orders pizza. Sublime and Blink 182 are playing softly in the background, with occasional 2010s music like Imagine Dragons. There's coat hangers screwed into the window frames and old-school booths - the thin red bendy ones that are hard as granite. Oh, and this communal tray of spices and sauces. My favorite part is the politically incorrect signs that say things like "Bob a sez Dats-a ma pizza!" Absolutely classic. You can still buy soda cans from a vending machine and pick up these tiny little gospel tracts if you want to convert to Christianity. Now, let's talk about the food. It's incredibly affordable. 85 cents a slice? Come on. That's insanely low. Pretty sure these people use slave labor or they're a front for some kind of shady business, cause that is the cheapest pizza in this market. How has this place remained unscathed from inflation and the changing cultural winds of this nation? Nobody knows. But do you know what I say? I say it's a magical place. The food itself is delicious, but in a "this is gloriously greasy and wrecking my body and I'm loving every second of it" kind of way. You eat here when you feel like eating an unnecessary amount of carbs and want to enter into a food coma. You don't eat at Bob's if you're a swanky high-class foodie with picky expectations and need two taps of cinnamon mixed in with your soy milk latte. You eat at Bob's to feel satisfied afterward. You eat until it hurts at Bob's.Customer service is a bit of an acquired taste, I gotta admit. They are super efficient, which I appreciate greatly. Sometimes they'll have your pizza ready before you get your money/card back from the cashier. But the workers are, shall we say, not in the mood to make friends. They don't know your name and they don't want to know your name. Instead, whenever your order is ready, they put it on the counter and shout it out - "THREE WITH!"And you better start walking towards that plate pronto, or they're gonna shout it again even more angrily. You hear? START WALKING TOWARDS THE COUNTER. NOW.They also expect you to know their lingo, even if you're visiting for the first time. For example, they never say the word 'pepperoni.' They just say slices "with." Like, an order of 2 slices of pepperoni would be called "2 with."In conclusion, Bob's is not merely a cheap pizza joint. It's a trip back to the 90s with your high school buds to see who can eat the most slices in one sitting. It's a place where you go when you need to feed a football team or need a greasy, carb-heavy lunch really fast and all you have to pay with is the change on your car floor. It's a pizza joint that reminds you of a simpler, happier time. It's a place, in my opinion, that we need to keep alive for as long as possible completely unchanged.Oh yeah, let me give you guys some tips too:1. GO WITH THE RIGHT FRIENDS. Go with friends that aren't too prim and proper. It's more of an experience than anything. Talk about sports, video games, or movies.2. They'll give you plasticware if you order 2 or more slices. The pizza is too hot to pick up, but you can still eat it. So what you do is you use the plastic fork and knife, wedge it under the slice, and pick it up and eat it.3. Highly recommend using at least one of the spices/sauces at the tray in the back. Try hot sauce on one slice.4. Always get a drink. Just trust me on this one. You want a drink after eating this pizza.5. Have your order ready before you get to the counter. And don't mess around. Just say your order. Pay and walk away.Peace out. #BobsPizzaForeverParking: 20ish parking spot“
“We ordered from here tonight. We got a meat pizza and a chicken bacon ranch and they were seriously sooo good. We hadn’t heard of Lutz’s before but are so glad we found them. 10/10 recommend ordering. Hands down one of the best pizzas we’ve had in indiana.“
“Me and a couple friends came in around 1 today. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress whose service was amazing. They also gave us a little tour of the bar since it was our first time eating in and it was closed at those hours. Highly recommend their sweet heat wings. The beers were ice cold.“
“My family and I LOVE going to Bruno’s! Their sauce is perfect and is our favorite. Mike and his staff always make us feel welcome and the food and service are excellent. Bruno’s is the best Italian restaurant in town. We even take quarts of their sauce and beat all’s when we visit our children who live in other states. Love the sauce!!!!Rosemary Buchanan“
“Parking: There is street parking. It is not free. Depending on the time of day, day of week it is safe to park. It's permit parking for the Borough. The borough loves to ticket your car and give you the boot! Even though it's counter-productive to promoting downtown businesses. Don't worry parking proceeds subsidize government paychecks - helps augment the yearly tax increases.?“
“The food is very good, but the service (appears to be kitchen side, not servers) is very, very slow. Definitely do not recommend it if you do not have a full lunch hour. Also, the bench seat i was sitting on had zero cushion and felt partially broken. That said, our server was nice, and the food was good.“
“overall my experience was good. poor gentleman was there all by himself and was busy. but he kept his composure and moved efficiently. very friendly as well. 2/22/24no fault to his, maybe menu and website change or availability. i ordered garlic bread on their website it shows as garlic breadsticks. but what i picked up my ordered it was literally just a whole piece of bread just garlic. not breadsticks. oreo cheesecake was mediocre. but the pizza is absolutely amazing. literally made to perfection. nice flavor cheesy and saucy.“
“Overall, great experience. Hang up was the only slice pizza available is cheese. Then the portion of chips with a sub was much smaller than it used to be. It's just enough that you could eat a few more; whereas you used to get a heap and have leftover chips.“
“Best local restaurant in town!! Everything I have had has been absolutely delicious!! From the “full” wings, to the pulled pork sandwich, pizza, bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers, bacon Mac and cheese, I have never been disappointed. My personal favorite is the pickle pizza. And Carla…..she’s pretty awesome “
