“A simple menu, a simple establishment, hits the spot with great food and plenty of seating! I really enjoyed my tuna salad sandwich on rye with a soda and chips. A couple young fellas walked the restaurant and kept it tidy. Several lovely ladies checked in on me as I ate. It was very pleasant!“

“I visited for the first time when my friends from New York came to bring me out to dinner for my birthday. I was very impressed with the atmosphere that was warm and elegant yet relaxed, and cozy at the same time. I had the New York strip steak that was cooked to perfection medium rare. The house salad and house poppyseed dressing was outstanding. I finished my meal with a vanilla bean crème brûlée. That was the best I have ever had. Prices were very reasonable and our waitress was attentive without being intrusive. Wonderful atmosphere excellent service and food at reasonable prices. I can’t wait to go back. It’s highly recommended.“

“I make sure I stop here when I make my yearly trip to Sight and Sound theatre. Their wonderful choice of inventory makes for a great an easy way to fulfill needed supplies that I can't obtain at home. I think their prices are right on for the quality. The persons working there are extremely helpful . Sadly, I didn't know about the "cold product section" in the back of the store until it was closing time and I didn't want to make their day longer! I am not sure if there is a sign that describes what is behind the clear curtain but if not, maybe one could be put up! See you next year, Lord willing!“

“Excellent. My wife and I went with our daughter, her husband and our two grandsons. Sat right down and were waited on promptly. The peanut butter ale and the blonde ale were excellent. For food we ordered a pepperoni pizza, buffalo wings, salad with shrimp and a pretzel- all dishes were great. Service was spot on. Looking forward to going back.“

“We stayed on a summer weeknight and had a great experience! The grounds are beautiful with tons of photo opportunities and peaceful walking trails. We stayed in the Carriage House—very clean rooms with their own parking, and just a short, easy walk to the main hotel. The complimentary breakfast buffet for guests was a highlight—especially the made-to-order omelettes, which were absolutely delicious! The shops on-site are super cute, and the pool and playgrounds kept the kids happily entertained. A relaxing, family-friendly getaway—we’d definitely stay again!“

“Just had dinner at Bird-in-Hand Restaurant- the smorgasbord was amazing! So many choices! Everything was hot and delicious. The cheeseburger soup was very good! The homemade rolls- very yummy! Shrimp, ribs, mashed potatoes! Salad! I even had a mango slushy! Definitely the place to eat. Can’t wait to come back and try breakfast! Oh and dessert! Wow! Pies, puddings, amazing. Very Lancaster County authentic food! Loved it!“
