“Location was terrible :( im not from the area so i was very lost and having trouble finding this place. You have to take the elevator down to the concourse at the subway. Other than that, Staff was super nice!! Pork bao buns were soo good. Overall this is a good place to stop in and have a quick ramen dish yum.“

“I like their poke, it's my usual, and I would like to try their other items eventually. Their bulgogi is not my favorite as I find it blander and drier than what I like. I find that their website is not easy to use and their customer service is not great. They seem to argue or get easily frustrated. I like to get their lunch deal but it hasn't worked multiple times and they don't seem to like to honor the deal when I can't get it to work - they begrudgingly do. I'm not sure if the issue is because I have an iphone and use safari.

While waiting for my food today- I saw 3 other set of customers come in. The first came to pick up food and it sounded like one of the shop owners(?) (the woman) was rude to someone picking up telling them that they should come on time - they they've been waiting 15 minutes. The next person asked if they could drink their boba inside (they had other food with them) and they said no because there is no outside food. I understand the rule, but it seems odd to me when I've never seen the place anywhere near full. This is just my opinion, but I think having people visible in the place would be good for business. I don't think I've ever seen more than 4 people inside. I'd like them to stay in business and remain in the neighborhood but I'm uneasy about how it's not really a pleasant place to wait for my food in. I wish they would be more open and prioritize more positive experiences.“

“I got the Chicken Bento Box and let me tell you: this food was out of this world. I cannot express enough how amazing the food was: the chicken was juicy, full of flavor, and tender while the bento box had amazing side dishes that complimented each other pretty well. “The definition of a hidden gem! Everything we’ve had from them has been delicious. The effort they put into decorating their space (which is unassuming from the outside) is only topped by the effort that goes into the food. SO much flavor. Very happy to have them here in Fishtown.“

“Food here is SO GOOD. Everything is made fresh to order. Their fried pork cutlet is drizzled with homemade gravy, and their pork cutlet with cheese is so yummy as well. If you like cold noodles, you should definitely get their soba—I get it every time I come. But everything in the menu is so good. I love restaurants that have a limited menu and do the food justice. The ambience is calm, family-run vibe. Plenty of parking as well. And the servers are super friendly as well. Best donkatsu in town!!!“

“I took my boyfriend here for his birthday, and we both really enjoyed it! We had the 12-course omakase for $68, which is a great deal compared to other spots in Philly. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. The chef was friendly, though he spoke very little English, which made communication a bit challenging. The whole experience lasted about an hour.

It’s no longer BYOB, but they do offer a variety of drinks. We tried the fruity sake flight, and it was a great choice—different flavors to sample, and it paired perfectly with the sushi. The sushi is so beautifully cut and made with the best ingredients. I have a gluten issues, their gluten-free temperature is the best, so crispy, not greasy, and perfectly cooked. “We had been wanting to try this place for a while and finally did. It's a cute little place, the service is very good, and the food is good, but the portions are very small for the most part. I ordered a miso soup, a seaweed salad, a tuna roll, a salmon roll, and a mochi ice cream and I still was not very full afterwards. You get just a little bit of seaweed salad for $5.95. The rolls are tiny. You get one small mochi cut in half for $2.50. I might order a set dinner next time or more likely go somewhere else where I can get more food for my money.“

“It was my first time eating at Osaka Hibachi and I was very pleased with both the meal and service.
I ordered the chicken and salmon hibachi and both meats were tender.
The vegetables were cooked perfectly.
The rice was also cooked well.
My only con was the teriyaki/ hibachi sauce was a tad bit salty. Other than that- great experience and you get a lot of food!“

“FRESH sushi poke bowls and ramen dishes on a limited menu are fabulous. The quality of the sushi is exceptional, as are the portions. The service is wonderful and accommodating. Located in Whole Foods on the perimeter between the exterior walls and check-out registers, this is a wonderful option and addition to an already top notch source of quality food!

The friendly employee suggested placing the meal on a salad and it was terrific. I will definitely be back for more! The prices are a bit more economical than typical sushi or hibachi restaurants. “Probably our favorite Manayunk area Chinese & Japanese for take out or dine in. Good appetizer and sushi selection, as well as a wide selection of specialty dishes. Favorites include the flounder with honey walnut and shrimp shumai, As someone with food allergies also enjoy just getting the egg fried rice as a nice simple side or next-day leftover.

Parking: For us it’s convenient to walk. The most convenient parking places are paid, but you can go up into the neighborhood and find street parking if you’re lucky.“

“I've only ordered delivery, so I can't speak on the full experience, but this is some of the best Chinese food I've ever had in this city. Bf and I ordered house special fried rice and salt and pepper chicken wings on a late night mission, and both agreed it was absolutely delicious.“

“The ramen here is so flavorful. The buns are to die for! The service is good too. During our first weekend visit a few months ago, we had the best waitress. My wife eats gluten free and she spared no effort to make sure we were accommodated. It’s rare seeing such an enthusiastic server. We cannot recall her name, but she was the pretty young lady with the big glasses and glitter. We’ve had other servers since, and they weren’t bad at all. Food good, service great. Will definitely visit again when we are back in the city.“

“Great place to eat at Assi Food Plaza. Quick and relatively cheap during these times of inflation. Lots of options to choose from. Really love their Donkatsu and the Curry Rice. The peanut dressing on their salad is top tier. Most things cost around $10 to $20. ?“
