“Rode in with a buddy while on the MA BDR. (off road motorcycle track from VA to NY) They were just opening up when we pulled up and told us to wait a sec and they'd get to us. They did. The food was great. The owners were awesome. Highly recommended.“

“I have been going to the Venture Inn for years. A couple of guys and I stopped in a couple of days ago. Everybody's food looked and tasted good. Our waiter was pleasant but did mess up one guys order of no onions. Not a big deal though. The prices have been going up but, depending on what you order it's still reasonable. I would recommend the Venture Inn for folks who want to go to a nice family friendly restaurant and bar.“

“I just had the best tasting pork chop I've ever had in my life.....I almost ordered another ha. The au gratin potatoes were delicious too! Completely unexpected awesomeness. I figured I'd just grab a sandwich and fries or something.....glad I didn't. My word.....delicious. And....only $13.....heck yeah. There isn't a ton of places in these here hills but dang what quality!“

“I had a wonderful dinner! The Salmon entree was so delicious and perfectly cooked. The ham and bean soup was the owners recipe and was amazing! The bartender Alex was friendly, attentive & made a great martini. Can't wait to go back and take my husband! And... the view of the River is priceless!“

“After reading the reviews and a craving for a steak we decided to try it and......It was wonderful, they were understaffed and our drinks never went empty, the food was great and we got to sit down and talk to the owner/chef and we had a great conversation and better food! If your in the lock Haven area and want a good steak I highly recommend!“

“We have been to Dave and Ruby's several times and always came away happy. We stopped tonight and had the best T-Bone we have ever had in a restaurant. Cooked to perfection--like it medium-well and that's what we got without being burnt. Busy, but still got served quickly and excellent service. We very seldom order steak because we're usually disappointed--not this time--GREAT! We don't usually write reviews, but this time was an exception! Thank you!“

“Traveled from Muncy to check this place out with friends. It was worth the drive. Everyone in our party had great reviews on their order of food. Club Sandwich, Tavern Burger, Fish and Chips were all fantastic.Staff was fantastic. They stopped to check on us often. Even the owners stopped by.It was loud and over bearing.Friendly atmosphere. Children would be welcome.Will go back for sure. Probably one of our best food outings for quite some time.I'd go over 5 star if available.Parking: Plenty of parking. Stone parking lot around building. Lots of space.Kid-friendliness: Children would be welcome. No issues.“
