“I ordered lunch for my family, for take out. One item was loaded potato puffs. They came with a very small drizzle of sour cream and a few small pieces of bacon. most were dry and plain. Very frustrating as this was my husbands only food he ordered and will be eating 😔“

“We had a lovely time at the Duck Inn tonight! Our server, Kyleigh D, was so accommodating and didn't even blink when I needed to change an order. The staff all around was lovely, even when some miserable lady caused a scene and embarrassed herself. They handled it very professionally. My kiddo loved going down to the water to see the ducks and stand on the dock. The food was good bar fare and we were seated in a quieter area which worked out well with the kids. All around a good experience!“

“It was our first time there and it was very good. I have to admit, I was skeptical about the food quality given the very large facility and being a believer in small establishments. But everything was surprisingly fresh and delicious. Our server was very pleasant and helpful. It was quiet enough for conversation and the live , low volume music was a welcome touch. “We absolutely love the Westgate Pub. We recently had my daughter's first holy communion party in their private room and it was spectacular. Our server was great, the food was delicious, and the party decor and planning was beautiful and out of this world. Sue goes above and beyond with her decorations at Westgate. They treat you like family and they are our favorite local restaurant hands down. Highly recommend for events, lunch/dinner, or casual drinks at the bar! Thank you Westgate!!!“

“My husband & I hadn't been to this restaurant in years. We had just come back from being away so decided to go out to dinner. This place was packed for a Friday night. We had about a half hour wait which was fine. I don't think that diners in this restaurant realize how loud they are ... We were in a room off of the bar area & could hear a whole conversation from one of the high topped tables... When we were finally seated, we were ushered to a booth - the last booth in the bar area ... The patrons at the bar were LOUD which I mentioned to the waitress as we sat down... Her off handed comment was, they have been here a long time, they would be leaving soon ... Well - that didn't happen ... The loud woman at the bar & her friends were still there when we left ... It wasn't a relaxing dinner... Our food was fine... My husband had the blackened chicken sandwich and I had the crab cake ... If you decide to go here for a meal , call ahead for a reservation and ask not to sit in the bar area.“

“I've frequented the Broad Axe for quite some time and love it for the friendly and welcoming staff and warm atmosphere. The food is good and they have an extensive beer and spirits list. The skilled bartenders can whip up anything to suit a mood or taste.“

“The restaurant definitely deserves its own review! The staff are fantastic and super personable. My wife and I were here for 31 days in April/May of 2022, and we had breakfast here almost every morning. We try to stay all-natural with food, and they were willing to work with us. We provided an organic Olive Oil spray, and they would use that on our omelets. They never made us feel like a hassle or burden, and we loved getting to know them, especially Rhonda and Trupti! At times they had nice Chobani Yogurt, and they always had great apple/orange juice options. They also had Franks hot sauce and cream cheese packs that were SOOOO GOOD on the omelets :)Can't wait to go back and enjoy the food and friends again!“

“The cx service I experience was excellent. The young man was friendly and served us attentively. I got salmon dish with a fancy rice with a bit of broccoli. I enjoyed everything except for the broccoli which was really salty. I pointed that out to my waiter and he spare no time to empathize and apologize (but no replacement was offered). We all enjoyed our meals for the most part though. The atmosphere has a cosy vibe and really a pleasant chill spot to eat and vibe with fam or friends.“
