Restaurantji's Kutztown guide: Where to find the best Mexican flavors.
“I've been coming here for years, and am always compelled to stop by when I'm in the area -- the quality and authenticity never diminish. Excellent staff and owner. Absolutely one of the best Mexican restaurants around -- would 100% recommend!“
“Food and atmosphere are fantastic. I won’t go to any other Mexican restaurant in the area because they are always disappointing in comparison. That being said, tonight my husband completely wiped out on their icy ramp at the entrance. They hadn’t salted or anything to prevent falls. The hostess was very apologetic, but no manager or owner came to our table to make sure he was okay. They lose a star for that.“
“The bilingual staff were super nice. Nachos and salsa were fresh. My lunch fajita burrito was delicious and crispy without the cheese sauce. My boyfriend ordered the lunch steak fajita and it was great as well. Well worth the drive from Reading.“
“Still good food and everything I said last month is true for this month. I just thought I'd add a photo. Also, a minor ding. they tend to run the music a little on the loud side. No problem when there are no customers, but maybe take it down a couple of notches when the place fills up. I don't know how other people feel, but I prefer dinner music to be in the background.“
“It's the type of place that, when you walk in, you can tell that the food is made with love. And it was! I had the elote, the shrimp quesadilla, and a cup of horchata and it was all very good. And the staff were all very friendly and casual (in a good way).Parking: No street parking, and I think the lot behind the restaurant is private.Kid-friendliness: They had Sesame Street playing on the TV when I came in, and the kids menu is limited but definitely sounds tasty. And yet, I think that there are options on the menu that kids who aren't picky would love to share with someone.“
