“We have been going to the Totem Inn for the last few months, mainly for the hamburgers. They are truly incredible. There are few contenders to the flavor, quality and enjoyment one gets when eating a locally sourced handmade special seasonings, real tomato and onion all on a unique branded bun. And not a sloppy eat like many othersPrice is great. We get the bacon cheddar burger. It's the real deal .The service is impeccIble and friendly.Highly recommend.“

“My daughter and I came here for the first time. The food was excellent ? it was trivia night, so we participated in that, and that was fun. The waitress was very nice. And if we are in the area again someday, we will definitely stop back, and 100% recommend this place.“

“This is a hidden gem in the town of Carbondale. Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere in here. The food is amazing and the chef really loves what he does. They do a trivia night which I didn't participate in personally, but I had so much fun just drinking coffee and having dinner while listening to the trivia night take place. Eric personally comes up with all of the questions and is interactive with all of the customers. I recommend trying the Guinness stew , it's out of this world!! I left there full and with a smile on my face! This is the kind of place you can bring the whole family. I highly recommend The Chip & Stone!“

“The Peanut Bar is one of my favorite places to visit in Carbondale. It's the "go to place" if you're looking for something to do or a good crowd to hang out with. The staff and bartenders are very kind and personable. Also, the Sweet and Spicy burger is one of my menu favorites. It has candied jalapeños, bacon, cheddar cheese, frizzled onions, and hot honey sauce on it. Get it with the hand cut fries and it is perfection! I highly recommend stopping in here and trying the food or any of their specialty drinks. I might have to go tonight because now I am thinking about the burger after writing this review. Haha. If this isn't for you, then take a short walk to the Cashew Lounge right behind it.“

“Delicious homemade food and drinks at reasonable prices. Great welcoming atmosphere from owner, staff, and patrons alike. Hometown feel with olden decor and seasonal decorations as well as a few newer things such as casino games, mechanical dart board, and flat screen smart tvs. Weekly food and drink specials. It's a great place to visit with friends and acquaintances daily or for special events.“

“Definitely a roadhouse feel inside & out which is kinda the whole point. The chef never disappoints & service is always great whether they are busy or not. Saw a Led Zep cover band there over the summer, was a great time. Not your woke-type crowd in there which is fine by us “
