“I just ordered the 6 pc bone in wings through DoorDash and oh my gosh! Sooo good! I’m normally super weary about ordering wings around here because I’m rarely satisfied but you guys definitely gained a new customer! I got the mild garlic parm option which had just enough spice, extra crispy, all flats with a side of ranch. Unfortunately I didn’t get my ranch but everything else was spot on!!!“
“Mike and Jess are always on-point. I love the wings and the rotating beer list. The bartenders are well-versed in the beers. And we’ve sampled and enjoyed several experimental martinis. Jess makes a great strawberry martini and Mike is a genius with mezcal. And mezcal is hard to find. Cheers to Bar and Company!“
“This was my first time back since new management turned a good bar into a GREAT BAR - the 1905 Tavern!!! Only had “Hot Caesar” wings which were great and a couple Outlaw beers!?? Can’t wait to come back and try other things on the menu because they all look delicious! Bartenders & other patrons were all friendly! Reasonable prices! Overall, a great, fun night!“
“This place was awesome to hang with friends! We came into town for a reunion with friends a few weeks back and after visiting a few places that were still around 35 (!!) years ago, we wanted to try somewhere new. We reads the reviews and they brought us here! We immediately understood why this place consistently gets 5 stars. Our bartender and, we later learned, the owners are multi-generational in the community, which allowed us all to walk down memory lane of things that stayed the same and things that changed. Although I have no doubt that if this was your first time to Scranton, you would be welcomed just as warmly (the staff did not know when we walked in that we had roots in the area). We did not try the food but next time we're in town, we will look forward to doing that. We wish Thirsty Elephant continued success!“

“I don't go out (to bars) all that often, but this is a nice spot. The layout isn't cramped which is a plus. Nice bar tenders and they have comedy nights that are pretty fun. Any type of establishment that gives people an outlet like comedy night or open mic is a good thing for the community. Definitely give this place a visit.Parking: Definitely worth a visit.“
“This is a hidden gem in the town of Carbondale. Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere in here. The food is amazing and the chef really loves what he does. They do a trivia night which I didn't participate in personally, but I had so much fun just drinking coffee and having dinner while listening to the trivia night take place. Eric personally comes up with all of the questions and is interactive with all of the customers. I recommend trying the Guinness stew , it's out of this world!! I left there full and with a smile on my face! This is the kind of place you can bring the whole family. I highly recommend The Chip & Stone!“
“Love Mickey Gannons. We hadn't been since covid hit. The server explained that they had new management and were excited for the changes that were being made. Then after 2 burgers, fries, an order of chicken fingers, and 2 beers each, the bill came to $108 for the 3 of us!! It'll be a long while before we go back.“
“Stopped off the highway on the way home from a road trip. The S.O. was born in the area and his uncle is friends with the owner and his cousin had worked there growing up, so we wanted to give the support. Great little unassuming spot. Grabbed seats at the bar. Drinks were perfect. Had the cappelletti to start-cant find those in central NY so that was a special treat. Tuna melt special for me hit the spot. If only we lived closer, this would be a regular spot for us.“
“Had a great dinner here after a basketball game at holy rosary. Those who got burgers enjoyed them and the house fries were delicious. Tater tots were very different from store bought and not a hit with kids (looked more like hush puppies). I sincerely appreciated that they had GF items labeled on the menu. “Visited a friend up in the area. We wanted a dive to kick back after a day of skiing. I cannot recommend M&Js enough. I travel a lot for work. I’ve been to countless restaurants, bars, dives, etc. … this place blew me and my buddies away. Service awesome, beers good, and the food was out of this world. Get the wings. Super crispy & the garbage sauce is awesome. Highly, highly, highly recommend“
