“We live in Los Angeles. We were visiting family in Philly and came to Lancaster for the day on a Monday when most of the restaurants were closed. Someone steered us to The Coffin, and we had an excellent time. The food was delicious, and we were particularly delighted with the bao buns. They were just as good as the pork belly buns that were our favorite dish at an LA Asian restaurant that closed during the pandemic. Service at The Coffin was prompt and cordial, and the decor was a kick. Highly recommend.“

“Always a fun time at our local Villa Nova Sportsbar & Grill. We were out walking with our little pup & were welcomed to stop in at the outside patio. Well, it ended up to be such a relaxed wonderful time. Toby, the pup, met new friends. We enjoyed amazing cocktails & dinner. Toby was served a grilled hotdog that just made his day. “Bert and The Elephant has great service, but the vibe is what really makes it special. It truly feels like you’re in Belgium! The food and drinks are amazing, and to top it off, I also found out that Bert’s and my family are from the same neighboring town on an island. Then to make it better me and him were born in the same town in a whole different country across the world, such a small world. Bert is a great guy, but his explanation about the beers, the technique behind the foam and how to enjoy it was mind blowing!! Jess was soooo good as well! Can’t wait to come back!“

“Great visit to the Rural City Taproom. Enjoyed talking beers with the assistant brewer and tasting their great work. Such a down to Earth and welcoming authentic brewery. Good work! Carrot cake beer (yeah what?!?), new england IPA and saison were fantastic.“

“Usually very enjoyable place to hit for beers and take out some food. I’d give 5 stars were it not for the 2/3 of the staff that don’t know how to answer or talk on a phone. Seems like no one trained some of these dudes. My last order was completely wrong (realized once I got all the way home). No real standards in service. But, that said i absolutely LOVE the one dude w the red hair, who is always attentive and super friendly. Everyone else should be taking notes from him, especially when taking orders.“

“Love Tuesdays with Matty Means, I am it giving another try. I was a regular with the old bartenders n DJ but DJ Matty means is great met hunter the other night and Leo on a Thursday they’re both amazing. Convinced my friends to go out our regular Tuesday night karaoke instead of Thursday because they love the Thursday night staff. In all a great space and happy I gave it a second chance!“

“We sat inside, but I think one of the coolest parts about this place is their patio. It has a ton of room out there and is filled with all types of plant life. There is a great selection of board games and cards to pass the time while drinking some brews. The brewery had a nice selection of their own beer and other locally sourced beer. Bartender was super nice and personable.“

Perched in the center of City Market South, you can grab food from one of the dozen-or-so diverse food stands and then settle in for an often rotating, inventive cocktail list...often including esoteric flavors and ingredients (salted tomatillo syrup for the win). One of my favorite stops in downtown Lancaster.“

“My husband and I come to Highland often, but the most recent was Saturday night when they have live music! The food is fantastic, the drinks are made well, and the music has always been good. There are tv's mounted with sports playing, a wide selection of beers and liquor. The service is top notch. We love it!“
