Speed's offers very good subs on fresh bread at excellent prices, with friendly service. While some feel the quality has declined over time due to previous staff, others find the food serious good, delish, and affordable. The steak subs are a favorite, and the hand-cut fries are a hit. Customers appreciate the kind lady at the counter who also cooks the food. Limited parking is available right in front of the shop. Recent visitors praise the cheesesteak as one of the best ever, made the old school way, and appreciate the staff for processing customized orders efficiently, even providing free chips. The team that stopped by on the way to a championship found the sandwiches perfect for feeding hungry players, highlighting the good value and friendly service.
