“We have been to this place several times and we cannot say enough about the food. It’s a small place but the host Surrender is very kind. He makes the food just the way you want. Their DOSA is to die for!! so good( Trust me! I have tried so many dosas and theirs is on point). And Biryani and Chicken 65 are the BEST! Definitely our favorite food spot on weekends !!“
“I ordered takeout and got the goat curry, medium hot. It was delicious. Warning, it is served rustic, like Rogan Josh, so there are bones in it, which is to be expected. Super basic Interior, but the food was great. I would definitely come back again.“
“My husband and I have been looking for a good Indian restaurant for several years and have eaten in many places in the area. By far this is the best! We sampled a few of our favorite dishes (samosa, kebab, paneer, garlic nan, ras malai) and were very satisfied! Highly recommend!!!Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance ramp and wheelchair accessible restroom.“
“We come here at least once a week. The food is awesome, the service always quick and very pleasant and the atmosphere very comfortable. Love that it’s byob and prices are very reasonable. Our ‘go to’ on Friday nights. Always tell friends it’sThe best Indian I’ve ever had. Try it, you willLove it:)“
“Great food, atmosphere, decor and service. Will definitely be coming back! Happy Grover our waiter was amazing from the moment we sat down until we left. Food came out quickly and Happy was always checking in to make sure our table had everything we needed.. it’s 11/10 !“
“Amazing little place right in the Heart of Ambler. I usually always get the chicken over rice but everything on the menu is delicious. The owner is super friendly and always looks out to make sure his customers have the best experience. Highly recommend!!“
“We had a wonderful time, enjoyed the delicious food, and the friendly service. This is our "go to" place for Indian cuisine. The spice levels are exactly as advertised. Mild is flavorful, medium is what most Americanized places would call hot, and the hot, or very spicy level, is authentic Indian heat... Desi-hot! Just the way I like it. Most places won't make things really spicy, but Curry Leaf will if you ask for it. My wife doesn't like spicy food, but absolutely loves their mild versions of butter chicken and Tikka masalas and everything else. The tandoori chicken was amazing. I also tried some of their vegetarian options and enjoyed every one of those as well. We also always get the samosa which is crispy and tasty.“
“I've been going to Palace of Asia since they've first opened close to 20 years ago. Always good quality, always good service. We moved about an hour away but still try to come back when possible. Didn't know about the fire and accidentally went to old location, they were so nice holding our reservation while we figured things out. They even texted us directions.Great food and sweet people!“
“The food Is well priced and so delicious! I usually get the combo chicken and lamb cubes patter- very filling and flavourful!Kid-friendliness: Clean open atmosphere, anyone of all ages welcome.Wheelchair accessibility: The door is wide enough for wheelchair accessibility, and tables are easy to pull up to when eating if seated in a wheelchair.“
“We have been visiting this place over two years and it is the go to Indian place for usclose to our house. Their Vijayawada special chicken biryani is truly the best biryani I had in town.9 out of 10 times taste of the biryani was on spot. We order their biryani at least once in a month for to go. The other item we liked is Chicken 555 . Their staff are very nice and accommodating. I definitely recommendyou to try their vijaywada special chicken biryani if you haven't .“
“We recently organized our wedding at Indian grill. I had an amazing experience with Sheetal who was organizing and coordinating with us. The decorations, food, service were impeccable. They paid minute attention to details that were requested. Staff was friendly, helpful and provided services on time. Would definitely recommend them for all events.“
“Tried out Tawa Pomfret Fish fry, it was really good. One of the best tawa fish fry I ever had. Goat biryani was really good,Naan chicken butter curry was good too.Overall I highly recommend this place.Btw this is self service restaurant with very average ambience. I recommend to try takeaway“
“We went here for the happy hour (HH) today… taste and quality of the food were outstanding. Portion sizes are just right for HH. We had a great time. Highly recommend this place, especially the HH gives you the best bang for your buck. We will surely be visiting again.“
“We have eaten here twice and enjoyed it both times. The host/server is very kind and courteous. The service is a little slow, but not too bad for freshly prepared food. The food is very good - not exactly like Indian food I have eaten at other places, but with related flavor profiles - and much better in some instances. We loved the samosa chaat on both visits: a great mix of hot and cold ingredients and very well balanced sauces. I have had the saag paneer (which tasted more of spinach than what I have eaten elsewhere and was silky smooth) and the butter chicken (succulent, with well-cooked chicken and a tasty gravy). The naan is beautifully light and puffy. We are not big eaters, and the two of us shared the chaat and the butter chicken today and were more than satisfied with the quantity. The time we ate chaat, saag paneer, and goat curry, we took food home.I find both the screen advertising the food and the talk radio distracting and irritating, but I am slowly becoming resigned to the idea that restaurants that are not fast food places will assault me with unwanted media when I would prefer to talk quietly with my partner. Fortunately, the program changed soon after our arrival. But I would rather have music if there had to be any audio at all.“
“OMG ! They truly live up their name, Bombay Dhabba. We are from Bombay, and we missed authentic street style Bombay food. Once we tried them and then our search ended. They serve tasty and delicious Bombay food. We only like the Audubon one Bombay Dhabba. ?“
“My date and I had a blast here. Our waitress Lovebreet was so sweet and knowledgeable on teaching us indian cuisine. She made great suggestions. I got the goat Tikka masala and it was divine. Also got some garlic naan and they were fantastic. Perfect crunch and amount of garlic. The owner was kind of enough to give us gulab jamun for dessert. It was like a donut dipped in a honey glaze. It was quite unique but good haha. Great food and restaurant. Would highly recommend. Thanks again guys.“
“We came as a group of 10 for the Sunday lunch buffet. They had a great range of appetizers, mains both veg and non veg options, as well biriyanis meat and veg. They bought freshly made dosa and naan bread to the table. The food was really tasty. The place is great for the families. We traveled from Bucks, and it was worth it.Lastly, the owners were present. They and the waitress were excellent hosts.“
“Best Indian street food in the area! I’ve tried their Veggie Panini, Idli sambhar, dahi puri, dev puri, pani puri, Mysore masala dosa & Dabeli vada pav combo. I’ve tried their info-Chinese as well, pretty good compared to the other options in the area.Never had an issue, they’re really nice about accommodating specific instructions in case you have any. I’ve been ordering door dash from them and have been enjoying myself thoroughly!!“
“Fantastic food, the food is so tasty and fresh and our family loved the way that the spice level of their food can be toned exactly to your liking. We had the delicious vegetable samosas for starters followed by mango curry and chicken tikka masala which we scooped up with super yummy regular as well as the excellent peshwari naan with almonds and raisins! And be sure to try their mango lassi and chai - both are excellent!!We look forward to coming back to this super clean and very friendly homely restaurant again in the very near future!“
