“Such a cute and friendly spot!!!! Perfect for brunch! The food is absolutely delicious! The breakfast potatoes were my favorite part. :) The staff were so sweet and were very accommodating of my food allergies. They took a picture of the ingredients to show me what was in their oil and that was above and beyond for me :)))“

“All around great breakfast/brunch spot!! No alcohol but who needs it.
The food, atmosphere, and service here were A+ when we went on New Years Day for a late breakfast.
It has a really warm inviting atmosphere which wasn’t too loud despite being a packed house. Service was also quick despite how busy it was and the food was superb. I always appreciate a place that doesn’t compromise food quality when it’s busy. The Crab Cake Benedict is delicious!! Buttermilk Pancakes too! We got a variety of food and loved it all. Left perfectly full.
The service was also great as well. We loved our server and the hostess was a charm.
My only business request is adding a chicken or turkey sausage to the menu for those of us whom need a pork/beef alternative.“

“This is the second time I’ve been here and was just passing through. I’ve been pleasantly pleased both times. Food is great, prices are reasonable. The service is super friendly and welcoming. I found street parking easy on a Thursday afternoon. The oat milk latte was really good. This is hard to find at a typical breakfast spot but the coffee and oatmilk were expertly put together. I’ll recommend this place and return again.“

“Cozy, welcome little neighborhood eatery in South Philly. Our party of 5 had both lunch and breakfasts. All were big hits! Pictures below was one of the specials-short rib grilled cheese. Should be a menu regular! It was fabulous! A generous serving so tender and great flavor. We’ll be back! A great find!“

“I visited this place 12/11/25. This is a very cozy restaurant, the atmosphere quite and the music was just right. The waitress was very nice and friendly, the best customer service I've had in some time. I ordered the Avacado Bacon Ceasar salad that was outstanding. This place is a HIDDEN GEM.“

“Went there with party of 4 on Sat evening. Good thing we had reservation. They were pretty full and people without reservations were turned away. We did have to wait before they sat us but it wasn’t too long. It’s a byod place so bring your own 🍷 🍻.
Parking was difficult - but that’s typical in downtown Chinatown. Recommend the calamari appetizer that was made just right. Lightly battered and flavored. Really enjoyed the sauté mushroom - flavored very well. I had the egg pancake with scallion on rice… which reminds me of my childhood. Others in our party had interesting options too. I tried the salmon over sticky rice - that was hands down the best dish on the table that night! Cooked perfectly - when the salmon flakes but not overcooked and rice was delicious! The chicken dish was also good.
We tried two of the dessert that turned out perfectly - not too sweet. Mango sago had something like grapefruit in there adding a twist to the dish. I would go back !“

“This was a wonderful stop on our last day in Philly! The breakfast was the best we’ve had on our trip (even better than we could’ve made at home) and the coffee was incredible (10/10, I’ll definitely be ordering some online). The prices were surprisingly low for how good everything was. Add in the friendliest service, and you’ve got a hidden gem we’ll absolutely visit again next time we’re in the area.“

“I recently visited One Shot Coffee in Philly and, overall, had a decent experience, though it wasn't without a few bumps along the way. First off, if you’re planning to drive, be prepared for some serious parking challenges. It took me 25 minutes to find a spot nearby, and the nearest parking garage was two miles away! So definitely keep in mind that parking in Philly can be a bit of a hassle and may cause delays.
Once I got there, the cafe itself really impressed me. It’s got a lot of personality, with a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere that makes it easy to see why people love hanging out here. The food was good, and I could tell they take care in what they serve, but there were a few things I didn’t quite like. For one, the beverage names are abbreviated on the cups, which made it confusing. I couldn’t find my order. They could really benefit from investing in a label machine or at least writing customers' names on their cups to help avoid mix-ups.
I ate on the second floor, which has its own unique vibe. It’s definitely a great spot for a chill hangout. However, I did notice a couple of things that could be improved. First, napkins were not readily available upstairs. My date and I only got one, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, the tables weren’t cleaned quickly enough downstairs, meaning there weren’t always spots to sit. It’s something that could be easily addressed with a little more attention to customer flow.
The biggest downside for me was the fact that the second floor closes at 3:00 p.m., which felt like it really pushed everyone downstairs or out the door. The first floor is quite small, and when it gets packed, it can feel a bit cramped. I’d love to see the second floor stay open later to keep those lounge vibes alive for customers who prefer a quieter space.
In conclusion, while I do recommend One Shot Coffee for its great food, personality, and vibe, just be aware of the parking situation in Philly. It can be a real stressor and might make you late, which is something to keep in mind before you go.“

“At first looks the place is a little plain and empty. A few out of service drink coolers , a single rack with chips and cookies, and 2 PA skill machines (which I played while I waited for my food). But the place is very clean and you have an open view of the kitchen which I always appreciate as a customer. Prices were reasonable and the food preparation and presentation were notably good. Never judge a book by its cover. This place serves amazing breakfast and I will be back to try the lunch for sure.“
