“This place used to be great. I still think they have the best Chinese food around but the food has really gone down in quality. Some of my favorite dishes I've enjoyed since childhood suddenly changed in quality. They also never reopened their buffet. Covid really took a toll on small businesses and I do try to give them the benefit of the doubt but the food just isn't the same anymore. They can also be rude at times. Other times, the service is very friendly.“
“BEST dumplings I have had in the area! I’ve tried nearly every Chinese spot in the area and have been very disappointed with them but Bo Bo Garden in Lehighton has the best!!Customer service was impeccable. The woman was holding her son as he slept and talked to me and asked about my son as well. When I got home with my food I realized I forgot to ask for duck sauce. But when I pulled the food out I was pleased to see they had already put it in the bag for me!I’m also not a big fan or pork fried rice because it tends to be greasy but not theirs! It was perfect and I liked the grain they used! Very pleased all around with my meal and experience.“
“I give the food 4 stars because I always test each Chinese restaurant for their General Tso’s chicken dish. If the chicken is not crispy, then the sauce and the chicken should’ve been presented separately even if it’s takeout. No one in PA has survived that test yet. Also, there should be a tang from the vinegar that stands out and again no one in PA has reached that level. However, based on the taste and experience of the local residence, this is a five star to them. So I see both sides. However, if you are well traveled, this is a three star restaurant regarding their food.Parking: They are usually parking spots to park at, but may have to park further down the street during peak hours.“
“Definitely come here if your Hawaiian, Asian or love Chinese food. It has really good Asian styled food like Chicken fried rice, beef tips fried rice also vegetable stir fry. I personally had the rib tips and it came with vegetables and fried rice. It's much better than fast food.“
“I always enjoy the food and the people who run this resteraunt are awesome.Vegetarian options: Their garlic sauce goes well with most of the veggies they have add rice and you will be satisfied. They also have a sushi bar which they make make fresh.“
“Excellent tasting food. From the simple wonton soup to my shrimp egg foo Yung.Lunch specials are 8 dollars and change. Big portions. They could use a new business sign, however. Not very inviting from the outside.A co-worker recommended China Wok to me.“
“I've lived several places and you always need that local hole in the wall Chinese take out place. After trying a few after moving to Jim Thorpe, China Ming is not only the best in the area but one of the best I've ever had. The menu is standard but the food quality is just exceptional. I don't know what they do differently, slightly different recipes or fresher ingredients but it's far and above other places. It's become a regular go to on nights no one feels like cooking.Vegetarian options: The tofu that comes with the General Tso's tofu is something very special!! It's amazing.“
