I wondered into the place while waiting for my wife who was rehearsing for a dance recital in Cresson. I texted my wife and told her that I found our new place to go. Since then, we go there at least five or six times a month. The food is fantastic, the service is great, and the owners are the BEST. Stop in and you`ll see what we mean!!!!”

“I have always liked their food and was happy when they finally started doing deliveries. I have ordered about 5 times or so now, and disappointed every single time. I dont know why, but the food is always inconsistent, where sometimes its okay, but other times its clearly cooked rushed and with old oil. I also have made alterations to my food, such as adding extra toppings when ordering online and every single time, none of them are done. I even pay upcharge fees for things like adding bacon, requesting certain sauces, and they are still done standard. Either the system they use for deliveries is not working right, or the cooks handling deliveries just dont care. I hate to leave a bad review, but my order tonight was honestly my last attempt ordering now. None of my burger alterations were done, as well as it and my chicken strips were beyond overcooked and dry. It's just not right for it to be wrong every time.”

“We've always have a great experience at the Portage Best Way, whether eating in or food to go. The restaurant is always clean and the staff are also very helpful and courteous. A good deal is the Square Boli and a Garden Salad. It more than feeds two. Free refills at the soda bar is a plus too!”

“My wife Melissa and I visited on May 21, 2025 for dinner. The burger was perfectly cooked and seasoned, very delicious! Melissa enjoyed her pizza burger as well. The server was attentive and responsive, anticipating refills and other needs consistently. An awesome experience, and we will definitely return in the future!”

“This place doesn't look like anything much from the outside, but don't let that dissuade you. The inside is really nice! And the food.. try the crispy chicken salad! It's not iceberg lettuce but mixed greens that have much more flavor. My chicken was tender and moist,very tasty!”

“Stopped with my teenage daughter and 3 other teenage relatives. We got stuffed shells, side salad, fries, grilled chicken sandwich, chicken wrap, baked potato and breaded chicken. Top pick was the fries. \n\nWe did not realize that some things come very basic unless specified otherwise. Chicken sandwich was just the chicken and bun. \n\nVery quiet atmosphere as it was just us and 2 other people. Waitress was very friendly. Thought the total price for our meal was decent consider there was 5 of us.\n\nI’d rather do local than big business but the food might just need a little more pep put into it. We would go again.”

“Stopped here on the way home and tried the Smoked Trio special. I'm so glad I did! The smoked brisket tasted awesome and melted like butter in your mouth. The ribs peeled off the bones just like I want them too and the smoked sausage was spicy and flavorful. I decided on the fries and these weren't your normal stick fries, they were more like very thick potato chips. Very nice twist on that. I really hope they make this special a regular menu item.”

“Will always go here over any similar places around. Family owned, super nice. Great portions, and quality is through the roof. And if you tip them well they remember and will hook up your order every time after. Wish I could give more than 5 stars”

“ordered a cheeseburger came without cheese. ordered 2 super burgers with everything but cheese, came with plain burger. took both back and told girl I wanted everything but cheese. she said ok and went in back and came out with them. I got in car and only thing she put on them was cheese. Like they say good help is hard to find. Are todays kids that d*** or what.”
