“Karen makes the best cakes. I have ordered a Father's Day Cake for the last two years. I catered a wedding and Karen made one of the cakes. I had a piece of the Carrot Cake and it was the best I ever had (I am not even a fan of carrot cake). I had to track this baker. I looked up bakeries in PA and searched FB, hoping the baker posted the cake from that wedding. No luck. I was driving passed the house months later and decided to knock on the door. The mother of the bride answered. I told her I was with the catering company and if she give me the baker's info. She thought that me stopping by was great and loved my story. She gave me Karen's info and the funny thing is I did come across her page in my search. Karen is very talented and I swear you will dream about how delicious her cakes are. I love the inside of her bakery.“

“Amazing find! We had Gettysburg Baking Co. on our list but didn’t realize they would be closed on Sunday. So I pulled up other bakeries and saw Sweeter than Sap and read her reviews! This is such a great bakery. Very clean, neat, organized, and of course smelled amazing when we walked in. We had some tough decisions to make! I got the tiramisu bites and baklava, my boyfriend got a brownie and cinnamon bun. The baklava was soooo delicious and the perfect balance of sweet and crunchy! Seriously, I wish I grabbed 3 more slices!“

“love this place! I go to the one in biglerville. they have the best breads and pastries and now pizza. I've loved everything they had there so far they even used to offer affogatos with some sort of praline Carmel diamonds (at the Gettysburg location). divine. love the handheld pies. the little apple tarts. those twisty cinnamon things. did I mention the bread?!? for a while we were just eating the bread with scrambled eggs every wknd cause the bread was that good. if you're in the area check them out!!!“

“Kim as a hostess and Donna as a server are a combination that is impossible to beat. I am a regular and when Donna sees me she brings my drink order along with greet me to the table. Two other waitresses that I have had there that are truly excellent are Kristin and Emily.“

Your custom cake and cupcakes were a show-stopper. ***I ordered a Highland Cow 6” cake (peanut butter mousse with chocolate icing) and sixty plus highland cow cupcakes (yellow, chocolate and pumpkin flavors) to supplement. The butter cream frosting had the perfect combination of flavor, smooth texture with just the right amount of sweet. The cake and cupcakes were fresh and moist (even after I had them in the refrigerator for an extended amount of time). The Cake Bar captured the perfect amount of frosting to cake ratio. Each treat was and simply scrumptious. The cake and cupcakes were delicately decorated and exploding with “WOW”. Your skill, creativity and artistic talent are remarkable. “I drove an hour to Gettysburg yesterday frantic to get to Michael Kors to look for an exact same of purse of mine that had been stolen. I had been dealing with MK customer service which was 0 help and went to Clarksburg and all they said was sorry that happened to you but we don't have that purse. When I got to the Gettysburg MK outlet I was quickly greeted by all staff. I spotted my purse and was thrilled. when my friend told them what happened they were apologetic (they did not need to be) and they let me know that they were capable of calling store to store, checking inventory or shipping from another store to my house free of charge. Thank you Gettysburg MK staff for being so attentive and taking the time to make sure I got phenomenal customer service!!“

“Came in for a drop and hook. My load wasn't ready. I put my empty in the drop lot and stayed overnight. They gave me a free bag of pretzels 😁. It's a tight location, in a residential area. If you don't like small, tight spots... Well, I don't know what to tell you.“
