The staff is always friendly and engaging with me and my children and goes out of their way to fulfill any special requests like cutting my daughters pickles and tomatoes to make it easier for her to eat her sandwich! If we would all be as nice and friendly as the staff, the world would be a better place ”

“My wife and I came to HeBrews on our honeymoon in the off season (May) and got a cup of coffee. The environment was lovely with the local folk, smiles everywhere and wonderful service. “This cozy restaurant was really varied in its menu and sides choices. Our Server was helpful with the menu and answering questions about how the entrees/meals were served. There were almost 20 of us and Shelby did an excellent job of keeping track of everyone's orders and requests. She checked on us frequently and made sure we had what we wanted. The pies were outstanding as well. I would recommend this place. Good food, reasonable prices, great service! Gift Shop was nice too!Wheelchair accessibility: No issues for our family member. “We were traveling through Bedford. Knew about the Meadows from other locations. So anytime we see one we just have to stop and have some wonderful custard. This place is wonderful with friendly staff and great prices. Great tasting custard with daily flavors. I say if you're near make sure to stop and get some cold treats.”

“Good rest stop right before the I70 West to Pittsburgh. Quick efficient service. Two fairly clean wheelchair neutral gender bathrooms are available. Decent sized parking lot that is not too crowded. There’s a Shell and Sunoco gas station in the area as well as a few other good choices.”

To my astonishment, my children, who previously showed little interest in salads, were thrilled with the salad bar's extensive variety. It's an ideal spot for travelers heading from the DMV area to Pittsburgh.Kid-friendliness: Kids will love this place. They serve icecream too. You can eat as much as you can with the salad bar option.”

“It's a great little spot for the working class. The owners are working hard to make a living. Support our locally owned business instead of taking your money and giving it to some big corporate company. The small businesses is this country was based upon we're not all perfect but when you're hungry, stop and grab a beer, grab some of the french fries and only place in town to have chicken gizzards. They're awesome get the ones with the onions and peppers support local businesses because their children went to your school and you knew them growing up.”

I had a turtle Carmel sunde with candied pecans. Delicious. 16oz cup packed tight. And the whipped cream was very good. Thick actually tasted like real whipped cream. It blew my mind $ 5.50. They had some great food and beverage options for St. Patrick’s Day so we tried a couple drinks and ordered dinner. The food was really good and our server Colton was great!We had the Chef’s Burger and Fish & Chips, but there were so many things on the menu that I would have liked to try.Definitely a cool spot to check out if you’re in the area!”

“Great location pretty building we had the Greek bowl it was plentiful and delicious. The lamb meatballs were very flavorful! I also had the tomato basil soup that was served piping hot and was very good. Soup came with what I believe were house made crackers. Had a good selection of vegetarian options. I would definitely eat here again even if I have to go a little out of my way to do so it was that good! Service you place order at counter and the food is brought out. Service was fast and food was hot!”

“We were on our way home on the turnpike and decided to have an easy off/easy on rest break in Bedford. We stopped for ice cream at The Penguin since I had read online that they had vegan options. I was so happy to find not only did they have vegan ice cream made from oat milk, but that it wasn’t just vanilla but another flavor too. The oat ice cream was so good! My husband had a soft serve of pistachio and raspberry and said it was delicious as well. This is definitely worth a stop! The Penguin had a wide variety of ice cream flavors and soft serve flavors - great ice cream store!”

“Small brewery with small bar sharing a space with local bike shop, "Fat Jimmys Outfitters" in Central PA. There are no food offerings however they offer food trucks. Beer is great, however Brewery lacks ambiance. The space is very limited sharing space with the bike shop. Hopefully a restaurant is in the works. Dog Friendly Brewery. The brewery has been open for 5 years. I like the "Not Your Average Joe" which tastes clean and refreshing. I've had the beer at Bella Terra Vineyards and at the Omni Bedford in "Tillie's at the Clubhouse". 4 % ABV”

“It’s a small restaurant with huge upswing. You walk in and you are immediately met with a true Italian feeling. You place your order from an amazing assortment of food. They bring the food to your table and you just sit there and can listen to the sounds of the cook or talk to your friends / loved ones and enjoy a good hearty meal. Definitely worth the stop!”

“We love to stop in to get subs at this Subway on Business 220 in Bedford. The ladies do a fantastic job making our subs. The subs are delicious! Everything is fresh. The Steak and Cheese sub and Spicy Italian sub are excellent. Just tried the brand new #7 MexiCali sub. It’s a must try if you like to try new subs on the menu. Everything looks very clean. Quick service. Always patiently waiting on us to decide. Service is always good.”
